This place is a dream. We stayed at the junior sweet just for one night. The dinner was outstanding. The staff so friendly and attentive. We used the spa facilities and they were amazing. The garden with the lake access was just too good to be true. We are definitely coming back. We had breakfast in the garden overlooking the mountains.

The hotel is elegant, sophisticated and has a very good atmosphere. Both breakfast and dinner are excellent. Dinner was particularly delicious. The cocktails were also excellent. The service was fantastic, they were very attentive and kind. The hotel is well equipped, has its own spa and is very close to everything (thermal baths, ski lift). There is also a separate storage room for ski equipment. In short, I can recommend this special hotel with a good heart.

The breakfast and the dinner were great. It was a good decision to take dinner too instead of only a breakfast option. The hotel is by the lake with a beautiful view. As we stayed during New Year's Eve, the hotel prepared a great dinner, food was perfect. The sauna space is small but clean and useful. When we asked the owners for a water cooker, they find it immediately. Even though we were four adults in a small apartment (we knew in advance it will not be a bigger one, because it was the last one), we spent perfect time in the hotel with supportive stuff.

It is just on the slope that you can use even if there's no fresh snow. You can jump in quickly during skiing in case you forgot something or you need to have a quick shot of tea ;) House is spacious and furnished with a good taste. It is also equipped with all you may need, including minibar, sauna and a hot tube you can fill-in with one button.

A lovely family hotel with comfortable, clean rooms. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel also offers saunas and a small gym, which was great to use. Location is also great, it is nearby two cable cars. It also offers warm and spacious storage for ski equipment. Overall, a great stay!

Very good breakfast. Location next to ski lifts and Terme St. Katherin. However if you do not stay long public Terme are not needed. Kolmhof have own very nice SPA zone with saunas and quite big heated outdoor swimming pool. Really great.

Great skiing resort.

Great skiing resort. Many ski-lifts and pistes to explore and they are all well prepared. The pistes are not too difficult, most of them are of medium difficulty, but there are also some pistes suited for learning skiers. There is also a possibility to trek to the nearest peaks with or without the help of ski-lifts. The wellness is also great with an outside heated pool from where you can see the ski pistes. The area is well suited for families since it is peaceful and quiet.

Patergassen is vey small but Bad Kleinkirchheim just 7km away has everything you need plus cable cars and walking routes. The other way it is easy to reach the knockalm toll route which is stunning, and Turracherhohe cable car. The gem museum in Turracher is also worth a visit. Getting the Kärntnen card in the summer gives very good value for visitors.

We were at this location for 4 days in August.

We were at this location for 4 days in August. Nearby is Turracher Höhe, where you can go hiking or take the cable car – they also have a great trail for kids. If you want to visit Ossiacher See or some of the other nearby lakes, it takes about an hour by car, so for some people it might feel a bit far from those destinations. But for us, it was perfectly fine and we really enjoyed our stay here.

An excellent destination for winter and summer stays.

An excellent destination for winter and summer stays. It is equipped with cable cars and picturesque skiing and trekking routes. It is close to Bad Kleinkirchheim, which has an even wider range of summer and winter activities. It is a preferred spot for those who like to be close to the heart of the action, but with the possibility of calming down in silence.

The town is wonderful.

The town is wonderful. I can imagine it in a beautiful winter idyll, covered in snow and illuminated with lights. Autumn time - just as beautiful, but the fact is that after 10 o'clock everything closes. I would also like to see more cycling areas clearly marked - they lack this in snow-free times.

Nice town, not too crowded in september.

Nice town, not too crowded in september. There is a great country bike trail, 15 km long. For all age and even for those with less experience on trails and for children. There are also other more dificult trails within 20-30 min car ride. An ofcorse a lot of beautifull mountains, a lot of them are above 2000m. They are covered in blueberries!
