Originally we planed to be there for 4 nights but we stayed longer. Family atmosphere and beautiful garden with 3 lovely dogs! The owner family and unique manager Gonza took care of us. Homemade breakfast, professional cleaning service and private swimming pool. You can count on them in everything from helping with the bikesl to best recommendations in the town in case of food, shopping, trips.. Feels like home! They didn't leave us with any problem. Splendid view from the bathroom. Perfect base for bike wine tours! After bike trip you can relax and just enjoy the garden and the swimming pool.

Posada Mawida made our stay in Mendoza really special. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully laid out. I was particularly booking accom that was unique and differed from a typical “hotel,” and this ticked the box perfectly. There’s so many dogs, chickens, ducks and geese that live here also, so that was very cute. They have a wine cellar so definitely recommend buying a bottle to enjoy by the pool. The staff are lovely and will help with recommendations for activities and winery visits, but if you’re tired or don’t have anything booked the property itself is a great place to relax and really feel like you’re on holidays! Noticed other reviews mentioning lack of ubers or taxis - wasn’t an issue (we easily ordered ubers, you might have to wait around 10 minutes or reserve ahead of time) and if you set the pick up/ drop off to “Posada Mawida lounge” they will drive directly to the entrance.

The room was super comfortable and had fantastic facilities. Breakfast was delicious. Above all, the staff went far and beyond by helping us get to the bus station as I'd run out of cash. The location is extraordinary — nestled in the foothills of the Andes with breathtaking views in every direction. Our villa was pure luxury: beautifully furnished with a cozy fireplace, private pool, rooftop hot tub, and even a fully equipped kitchen. The daily refilled minibar and the thoughtful welcome gifts — a bottle of wine, sweets, trekking bottles, and more — were lovely touches. We also enjoyed several free extras, including a delightful wine tasting. As returning guests, we were even treated to a complimentary massage session — a wonderful surprise that made us feel truly appreciated. Make sure to check out the offered activities — we did the horseback riding in the Andes which was truly magical! Casa de Uco is a rare blend of elegance, comfort, and genuine hospitality. We can’t wait to return!

We loved staying here - it was just perfect. The location is lovely - it’s secluded, peaceful and quiet with a beautiful river running through the property. There were wonderful places to sit and enjoy nature - hammocks, deck chairs and plenty of spots to sit quietly and enjoy the peace. The decor of the hotel is fantastic. Our room was lovely and the art work is exceptional. The people at the hotel were brilliant. Mikaela on the front desk was warm and welcoming, Flor in the restaurant was attentive and full of personality - and Chef Emmanuel was sensational. He whipped up a great vegan meal for me off the menu - it was just the best. The food at the hotel overall was fantastic. We loved our stay.

I booked this hotel last minute after a mishap in my AirBnB. The staff were so friendly, let me into the room early, and upgraded me. Throughout my stay I felt nothing but kindness. The breakfast was extensive and delightful, the room was clean and comfortable, the pool was such a delight and they let me hang out there all day after my checkout. I didn't utilize the gym, but checked on the facilities. It is basic, but it has benches and mats and free weights, which must have been added since recent reviews. I honestly had such a delightful stay here, it made my time in Mendoza so lovely.

an ordinary provincial town, it is interesting to see the mountains and vineyards, in the south of the province you can visit kayaking and you can also visit villa visensio, where the famous mineral water is bottled.I lived there for 2 years, met love there, and lost it there.The city sucks in its routine and boredom, run as soon as possible.

You would need a reason to stay in Lujan, rather than in Mendoza city itself. Visiting family in our case, or the vinyards of course. Quiet compared to Mendoza but lacking big city amenities. Easy and cheap to Uber into the city. About 15 minutes. Public transport avaialble (but we did not use). Probably safer.

A great area to go and explore, with stunning views up to the mountains and back over the plains towards Mendoza. We had a fantastic day horse riding with La Quebrada del Condor (ideally you hire a 4 wheel drive or you get them to pick you up) and a day hiking the Confluencia route to the base camp of Aconcagua. There were some lovely isolated lodges on the east side of Embalse Potrerillos, which we would loved to have stayed in, but they were fully booked.

We loved the Parque de San Martin for early morning walks, coffee in Habitat or even a run. Vineyard tour to Familia Blanc was the best tour we have had so far and we have done 6 in Chile and Argentina. Their wines were fantastic and seemed better than those I tasted at the Alta Vista vineyard and the price was excellent 1/3 of the latter Best steak was had at El Asadito - have the 500g Bife de Chorizo, you won’t be disappointed

On first arrival in Chacras de Coria it is easy to think you have made a mistake as it looks so quiet. Unless you are an an absolute party animal you will be mistaken and your stay will likely be one of the highlights of your time in Argentina. Good restaurants and a chilled out feel are two of the many highlights of the town.

There’s not a great deal to do in the city, unless this is a base for wine tasting. However, there are some very nice restaurants (& not only the pricy ones) and the market, some parks, museums and sights to see.

The central Plaza is a very nice place to sit down and have a drink or eat something. In Chacras there are so many options to good gastronomy that there is always a perfect option for what one is looking for. Brunch at Shelby was fantastic.
