We stayed at the Euro Hotel for 3 nights. I loved the quiet location. Close to the sea and the promenade and a few minutes walk from the city center. Our waiter Elsedio was charming and the hotel staff was very kind. The food is very tasty thanks to chef Bujar and the atmosphere is relaxed. Pleasant music and the pool water is at the perfect temperature. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained. We felt like we were in a private villa. Highly recommend.

The hotel is near the center and the beaches, there is always some wind there and that together with the pool helps to bear the hottest days. The room was tidy and cleaning was guaranteed every day. The personnel is very kind and helpful. The breakfast was ecceptional. We had dinner several times in the hotel's restaurant and that was as good as in the best restaurants of the city. If we decide to go on holiday agsin in Ksamil, we will choose this hotel.

This hotel is just the best in Albania for me ! Is one of the most professional with all accommodation and very beautiful design. The bed is so comfortable , the pillows. The balcony has a good view. But the best part is the hotel manager with his recommandations and advice. Ervin is the best. Not far from the beach the city and also 20 minutes to Saranda. In a quiet place to be honest stay here you’ll not regret

We loved everything about this hotel. In addition to being new, opened this year, the owner is very kind and friendly. You have access to the pool, towels are provided for the sunbeds and the bar is open from 10 am to 10 pm. Breakfast is served on the terrace and is quite diverse. Right at the exit of the hotel there is a restaurant-grill that has very good food, nearby you can find a well-stocked supermarket, pharmacies, ATMs. The nearest beach is a 4-5 minute walk away, being a beach with clear water and no waves. I recommend with confidence!

The hotel is a 2-minute walk from Paradise Beach (which we liked the best out of all beaches in Ksamil) and a 10-minute walk to the main bus station. The breakfast was great, cooked freshly to order every morning. The infrastructure of the village seems very poor, but the hosts made us feel at home and took good care of us. I would recommend and I would return.

We stayed in November so we were totally aware it was out of...

We stayed in November so we were totally aware it was out of season and there would be limited options. We enjoyed the quiet streets and there was still a small selection of restaurants open. We also went swimming, the water was cool but still enjoyable. For us Ksamil was perfect in November but I would caution that you must be prepared for a very relaxing and quiet experience.

Ksamil is emerging as a tourist destination & the centre of the town at least seems to have opted to cater for those who prefer loud music / water activities on the beaches. That said, there is a good selection of bars & restaurants both in the centre of the town and on the main road into it. The hotel in which we stayed (Area Hotel) was excellent. Public transport is ok - there is a bus every 30 mins to Sarande or Butrint BUT it is packed & an experience in itself! Fares are 150 Lek (1.5 euro) each way. Taxis are available but cost approx 30 euro each way. Although card payment is accepted in most restaurants / hotels etc, it seems as though cash is king in Albania. Local currency (Lek) can be accessed once you're in the country by changing euro at one of the many exchanges.

Ksamil is a very beautiful resort with numerous stunning...

Ksamil is a very beautiful resort with numerous stunning beaches and crystal-clear azure waters. There are plenty of quality restaurants offering delicious food at reasonable prices. The only drawback is that almost all beach spots are paid, meaning you need to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas. The cheapest spots started at around €15 for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella, while more premium locations charged €30 to €40 per set. Luxury cabana-style spots could cost up to €70 per day. Almost everywhere accepted euros, so it was not necessary to exchange money into the local currency. Alternatively, you could pay in euros and receive change in the local currency (Albanian lek). On average, €1 was equivalent to about 95–96 lek.
