We had an unforgettable stay at Villa Castriota! Although Daniela wasn’t there during our visit, her father warmly welcomed us and took excellent care of us throughout our stay. The highlight of the villa is undoubtedly the stunning view—we had a direct, unobstructed panorama of the charming village and the majestic Krujë Castle. Waking up to such a view was magical and truly one of the best parts of our trip. We opted to have breakfast on the balcony (with a small extra fee), and it was worth every penny. Enjoying a delicious meal while soaking in the amazing scenery was a perfect way to start our day.

Property is clearly being developed so things aren’t polished but the bedrooms which are finished are extremely big, clean and the linens are of a high standard. Staff collected and dropped us back to the airport. Breakfast was simple but delicious, wouldn’t hesitate to return.

This place is more than just a hotel – it feels like your own villa with private rooms, a beautiful garden with tables and chairs, and complete peace and quiet. Everything was super clean and very comfortable. The whole staff was wonderful, and the young lady at the reception took care of everything perfectly – she really made our stay special. We will definitely come back!

Hotel is new, very nice and clean. Beds are comfortable. Stuff was very friendly. They even prepared a breakfast package for me as I was leaving too early in the morning. There is a closed parking for the car.

All! really worth 5 stars. everything was great. room, restaurant with top chefs, the receptionists in particular great! the service, especially the older waiter at the top breakfast, moved like a butler and was very attentive. The building is only a few years old and has been recreated in an Italian atmosphere, but it certainly radiates quality. The Spa can be reserved for guests each day for private use. it is located a little further from the beach 750 meters. but we preferred to stay at the hotel. you don't want to leave there anymore. We will definitely go back! great hotel!

The staff was really helpful, but we'd like to particularly mention the blonde man at reception. He exchanged a few words with us, helped us with booking a cab... He was really welcoming and was always ready to help. The hotel, overall, looks quite new and it's really clean. The views couldn't be any better. You leave the hotel and jump right into the market. It felt like a dream to stay here. We loved the pool and the restaurant as well. For all these reasons, we had a really pleasant stay and definitely felt hard to leave. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Hotel is located in the second line from the beach, 2minutes walk. The hotel was clear, the stuff was helpful and the pool is the biggest attraction. The room was cleaned every day and we had very spacious place. The breakfast was every day the same but still you had a choice (eggs made 3 ways, ham, cheese, vegetables, marmalade, melon and watermelon, grapes and few kind of cakes. We also ate their paid dishes from the restaurant for dinner and was very tasty.

Excellent hotel, very affordable with parking and umbrella and sun loungers. The beach is very clean and relatively quiet. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Special praise and great gratitude to the receptionist and the hotel owner Mr. Kevin who selflessly helped us and took the whole afternoon to solve the problem with the car. The beach is just in front of the hotel, very near. We are having breakfast and looking at the beach at the same time. The manager of the hotel was always nice and helping us every time we asked him something. We arrived in the hotel very late in the night, and that was not a problem.

Durres is a nice relaxing place to stay, a lot of history.

Durres is a nice relaxing place to stay, a lot of history. plenty of shops, people were helpful, plenty of small bars most selling food at very reasonable prices. A walk along the beach is recommended where there are many restaurants with lots of variety. if travelling i would recommend taking a bus as taxis are rather expensive i.e. a bus from the airport will cost 7 euro whilst a taxi will cost around 37 euro.

The airport is small, clean, and has a nice modern facade. Check-in was straightforward, and the building itself looks pleasant. During departure it was extremely crowded and chaotic, with no free seating and little space to move around. My flight was delayed, which made the wait even less comfortable. Nice small airport in design, but easily overcrowded and uncomfortable during busy hours.

Krujë is a charming historic town with narrow streets, an old bazaar, and plenty of traditional Albanian restaurants. The Castle Museum and Ethnographic Museum are must-visits, there’s so much history to discover. Rain or shine, it’s worth exploring, and on clear days, head up to the shrine on the hills for a stunning view over the entire Krujë valley.

The beaches are awefull around Cape Rodon. Lot's of trash and garbage floating around the beaches and sea. Currently there are 2 newly built resorts (Saint Michelle Residence and Resort Arbeni) being demolished for unknown reasons. Our first booked accomodation let us know that they had to cancel our booking due to Albanian new legislation (Piceri Rodoni). In my opinion it is better to stay at the beaches of Dürres and visit the cape as half a day trip. But if you want to have a non-active holiday, Rodoni resort is the best place you could imagine to stay.

We had to drive, but it wasn't a problem for us. We discovered some really nice local bars and restaurants. Duka Wine Estate is definitely recommended, just a 10-minute drive away! Lej & Laj, we'll definitely be back!

This is perfect for its purpose!

This is perfect for its purpose! A clean, comfy bed to catch some sleep before a flight. We could return our car, walk to Rinas to sleep and walk to the airport in the early morning. It worked out perfectly. Safe, clean & our bed was actually the most comfortable we had in our 2 weeks in Albania.

Kruje is charming and small.

Kruje is charming and small. You don't need more than half a day to walk through bazaar and explore the castle views and museums. You could stay longer if you are planning to do hikes in the area which we didn't have time for. It is a charming small town with great views and a nice bazaar.

Very beautiful beach, clean air surrounded by pine trees, family oriented, a lot of fresh and testy quality local food. Outstanding sunrise and sunset. The best I have ever seen so far. I would recommend to have options of water activities for the families and the kids even though there is plenty of ground activities available.

I loved our stay here.

I loved our stay here. The beach is great - clean, not too busy as locals go there and only 1 or 2 hotels on the coast, so not overloaded by tourists like some European destinations. Beautiful beach, warm sea. Just perfect.
