The hosts and their daughter were very friendly and helpful. The father picked us up from the parking lot and showed us to the rooms. We don't speak any European languages but the language barrier wasn't an issue and their daughter communicated all the information with us via WhatsApp. I had difficulty finding the parking lot, and their daughter helped me via WhatsApp. Which was really useful. The room was big, clean and had all the amenities. The mountain view from the balcony was amazing. They served breakfast at your room balcony and the food was superb!

Great small hotel in a very good location. Has its own small private beach. Sunbeds are assigned according to room number, so you do not have a risk of being left without sunbeds. Breakfast is served in their restaurant and offers a choice of sweet options, such as croissant, pancakes and/or savory dishes like calzone, omelette, etc. Everything we tried was delicious. Restaurant itself was the best we tried at Durres beach, so we ended up having a lunch and dinner there as well. At the day of checkout we were leaving before breakfast even started and they insisted of giving us the food and coffee to go. Beach was nice and sandy. Water is shallow and you have to walk more than 100 meters for comfortable swim. But it would be great if you are with children. Parking is just one extra large spot, where two cars can fit.

This is a great hotel of excellent structural design and interior decoration, excellent accommodation and professional management. Room’s clean and bed’s super comfortable, very good bathing facilities and cleaning supplies, fast wifi network, everything is just perfect. We booked the room with spacious lovely balcony, has a special view point of the city life. Very good location for city walk. Restaurants, coffee shops, the Main Street, and the seaside square are just nearby. So I really recommended this hotel. BTW the sunset of Durres will never disappoint you.

I really enjoyed staying here. The place is only a few minutes by car from the airport and the hotel provides a shuttle that takes you there when you need it. The rooms are completely new and very clean. Moreover, the hotel has a bar/restaurant. The staff is incredibly friendly and pay attention to your needs. Highly recommend!

This place is more than just a hotel – it feels like your own villa with private rooms, a beautiful garden with tables and chairs, and complete peace and quiet. Everything was super clean and very comfortable. The whole staff was wonderful, and the young lady at the reception took care of everything perfectly – she really made our stay special. We will definitely come back!

The aparthotel Espana is located directly on the beach with its own sunbeds and umbrellas for guests. Bedroom is big enough with a comfy mattresses. We traveled with only small luggage, so the washing machine in the apartment was a great advantage. The balcony was large with an outdoor seating, nice view of the sea and a clothes dryer (4th floor). Lift was a big advantage especially for my 80 years old mum. Restaurant is on the ground floor and we had HB. You can choose for breakfast fried eggs, omelettes, sausages, cheese, butter, vegetable, fruit, jam, müsli, yogurt, croissant, usually 1 more type of cake and coffee + non alcoholic drinks from machine. For prepaid dinner you have 4 courses, each has a few options and includes also glass of wine, draught beer or Fanta, Cola or Sprite. Supermarket 2 minutes on foot. But most of all we love the hospitality, willingness and help from Toni and his staff. Always ready to help and give an advise. You can also order transfer from/to Tirana airport. I cannot say this is the best accommodation in the world but for the price we paid it was worth it and we really like our stay here. I do not expect 5***** quality if I do not pay for it :) And they have one of the best MOJITO´s I have ever had!

I had a fantastic stay at Adriatik Hotel, BW Premier Collection. I stayed in an executive room and loved the spotless cleanliness, excellent facilities, generous breakfast, and the balcony with a beautiful view. Every staff member was warm and attentive; special thanks to Ali and Erisa at reception, Lume and Xhane for keeping my room immaculate, and the pool team plus the gentleman managing the beach area and sunbeds: always friendly and professional. I also highly recommend the SPA: Anjeza is excellent at what she does. Traveling alone, I felt perfectly looked after while still having my privacy - a great balance. I even extended my stay because I loved the whole experience and I hope to return soon.

My daughter and I had a wonderful two-night stay at Vila Lule from Wednesday to Thursday. The owner was incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome. He was always smiling and took the time to explain everything about breakfast, making sure we had a great start to our day. The personal touch was amazing—he even prepared our beach chairs and towels for us every morning. The location is perfect for a relaxing trip with family, right on the beach. We loved our time here and would highly recommend it to other families."

Durres is a nice relaxing place to stay, a lot of history.

Durres is a nice relaxing place to stay, a lot of history. plenty of shops, people were helpful, plenty of small bars most selling food at very reasonable prices. A walk along the beach is recommended where there are many restaurants with lots of variety. if travelling i would recommend taking a bus as taxis are rather expensive i.e. a bus from the airport will cost 7 euro whilst a taxi will cost around 37 euro.

The airport is small, clean, and has a nice modern facade. Check-in was straightforward, and the building itself looks pleasant. During departure it was extremely crowded and chaotic, with no free seating and little space to move around. My flight was delayed, which made the wait even less comfortable. Nice small airport in design, but easily overcrowded and uncomfortable during busy hours.

Krujë is a charming historic town with narrow streets, an old bazaar, and plenty of traditional Albanian restaurants. The Castle Museum and Ethnographic Museum are must-visits, there’s so much history to discover. Rain or shine, it’s worth exploring, and on clear days, head up to the shrine on the hills for a stunning view over the entire Krujë valley.

The beaches are awefull around Cape Rodon. Lot's of trash and garbage floating around the beaches and sea. Currently there are 2 newly built resorts (Saint Michelle Residence and Resort Arbeni) being demolished for unknown reasons. Our first booked accomodation let us know that they had to cancel our booking due to Albanian new legislation (Piceri Rodoni). In my opinion it is better to stay at the beaches of Dürres and visit the cape as half a day trip. But if you want to have a non-active holiday, Rodoni resort is the best place you could imagine to stay.

We had to drive, but it wasn't a problem for us. We discovered some really nice local bars and restaurants. Duka Wine Estate is definitely recommended, just a 10-minute drive away! Lej & Laj, we'll definitely be back!

Great location, very nice and clean apartment, had everything that we needed inside, AC, WIFI, cable TV to watch the Euro cup. The host was great, responded within minutes and helped us with everything that we needed. There are lots of restaurants around the area. In the afternoon my 5 year old liked to go at the playground at the beach. There were also some other toys like bouncy castle, a train that offers train rides for $3/ride and some other stuff. Would recommend this apartment. It is our second year that we come back to the same one.

When we visited the busy season had finished so a lot of the restaurants were closed. I think the resort would be very lively in the main season. Would recommend visiting before the middle of September

This is perfect for its purpose!

This is perfect for its purpose! A clean, comfy bed to catch some sleep before a flight. We could return our car, walk to Rinas to sleep and walk to the airport in the early morning. It worked out perfectly. Safe, clean & our bed was actually the most comfortable we had in our 2 weeks in Albania.

Kruje is charming and small.

Kruje is charming and small. You don't need more than half a day to walk through bazaar and explore the castle views and museums. You could stay longer if you are planning to do hikes in the area which we didn't have time for. It is a charming small town with great views and a nice bazaar.

Very beautiful beach, clean air surrounded by pine trees, family oriented, a lot of fresh and testy quality local food. Outstanding sunrise and sunset. The best I have ever seen so far. I would recommend to have options of water activities for the families and the kids even though there is plenty of ground activities available.
