Food was really nice: first course was a buffet with a lot of choice of vegetables, soup, 2 types of warm dishes and 3 "starters/salads" ; for main course you could choose out of 3 dishes (2 meat and 1 fish) and there are 3 options for dessert.
Breakfast was also great. Only minus point: no vegetables for breakfast.
A great benefit is the bar at the hotel.
It gave me possibility to get (warm) drinks during the day.
Staff is soooo kind.
We were with our baby and they were entertaining him and also always came to talk during our meals . Felt homey.
I will for sure come back again

IrelandIt’s really good location to go to the slopes, ski lift it’s right beside it. And there is a shop you can rent all the equipments for ski. I just got surprised when we had to pay for the sauna, it’s the hotel rules, but it was the first hotel in life that I had to pay to use the facilities.

IrelandReally friendly atmosfere .There wasn t a single day the team didn t interact with us, see how are we are getting on or if we need anything . Easy to communicate with really good english and were using whats app as well . All info got before check in so at check in, tired after a long trip with 2 kids a meat and great and we went strait to our room . First hotel we had netflix kids loved it . Our room was aired and tidyed every day without hesitance .
Really warm and comfty room ( we are a family of 4) clean sheets extra blankets and pillows were available .
We weren t lucky to have snow in Arinsal but the team were really helpfull recomending alternative locations ,Ordina Arcalis , and the kids had a an amazing time skiing .
Also we had a percentage of discount when renting the ski equipenemt , St Mouritz group ,recomandations of good family friendly restaurants and so on .
Quiet place and respectfull guests , not a single night we were woken up buy noisy people ..
We had an amazing time, felt welcomed and all efforts were made to make us feel like home .
The sky lifts are just across the road , free parking , supermarket also across the road and lost of good restaurants ,irish pub pizza places grill , burger s sport and hunters bars and so on .

The location is great if you’re going skiing or if you want to enjoy a bit of the mountains away from the city, but if you want to stay in the city then this hotel is a bit out of the way. We wanted to stay in the mountains so it was perfect for us. We paid extra for the room with a Mountain View and it was well worth it. We split with the terrace door open and fell asleep to the running stream next to the hotel. The breakfast was also incredible with a variety of breads, meat, cheeses, juices, and fruits. We even got to order omelets from the kitchen. The dinner was also incredible. Highly recommend the gastronomic menu.

Staff were delightful. Food and service very good. Everywhere spotless and our room was cleaned to 5 star standard every day. Location quiet and nice to have access to swimming pool in sister hotel in the village. This hotel is great value for money and we will return.

I was there for the World MTB championships and the...
I was there for the World MTB championships and the organisation for getting to and from the bike park was excellent. There were plenty of buses available to the gondola to access the bike park.
I also had a days hiking where I found the route very well sign posted with paths and bridges well kept.

The ski resort is not very big but had decent long runs, and it was super easy to get from the gondola in the middle of the town.
Went hiking around, there are some easily marked trails.
I also liked the comics museum.

Family ski trip with a 8 and 6 year old.
Family ski trip with a 8 and 6 year old.
The resort is very good for beginners and intermediates.
Everyone working here in all areas seemed friendly.
We all had ski school which was all at the same time and oddly morning four hours lessons were split to 09:00-12:00 and 15:00-16:00. This meant a lot of time was wasted dropping off kids and getting to lessons/waiting for people to arrive as it was twice per day. And we couldn't really go do anything else if we wanted to attend the afternoon hour lesson. Our instructors were all very good during the lessons though.
We also paid for lockers at the top of the gondola but they didn't open till 15 minutes before lessons started 5 minutes away, resulting in a mad rush of lots of people trying to get ski boots on in a small space all at the same time.
The resort was not that busy when we were there, but the bars/restaurants on the slopes filled very quickly and it was often a wait to get a table for lunch.
Facilities were all pretty good otherwise.

We stayed in La Massana for the mountain bike championships for ease of access to the cable cars and event. There were plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops. I would recommend Grupetta cafe and Babek restaurant. The views all around are stunning!!

Great resort for skiing at a beginner/intermediate level.
Great resort for skiing at a beginner/intermediate level. Beginners will blossom with fantastic ski schools. Intermediates can ski in Arinsal and take the gondola across to Pal on the other side of the mountain so more choice of skiing. Great bars and food in the restaurants is excellent. And super value for money compared to Other ski resorts.

La Massana is a nice base for exploring Andorra if you want...
La Massana is a nice base for exploring Andorra if you want to be outside of ALV (whch is only a 15 minute drive). It's got a good selection of restaurants and shops, and it's easy to get around to see the rest of the country from there. We were there in the fall, before ski season started, so enjoyed lots of color and little traffic.
