Located at the Paul Kruger Gate to the Kruger National Park, Kruger Gate Hotel is situated on the banks of the Sabie River. Kruger Gate Hotel is a fantastic location right at the entrance to Kruger Park, making it incredibly convenient for wildlife enthusiasts. We took a safari organized by the hotel and were thrilled to see all the animals from the Big Five. The pool is wonderful and offers a stunning view of the river, where we had the unique opportunity to see elephants, antelopes, hippos, and giraffes coming right up to the edge.

I was traveling from Suncity in the northwest province to Richards Bay in LZN and to Middelburg in Mpumalanga to his facility. He kept on checking on my whereabouts to ensure that I had the most convenient check in. Arrived just before midnight and he was still awake to ensure I was alright and Arrived safely. From the incredible views, top class breakfast and dinner prepared by the chef, beautiful room (we were given the family room upgrade- spectacular!) and most of all kindness of the Hosts Martie and Ben who were so lovely and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The pool is really nice, sunset views from the water and the surrounding area is great. It has a sunrise viewing area just a few mins walk and then a great walking trail right from the lodge (about an hour walk). Thank you to Martie, Ben, chef and all the team - this lodge is stunning!
