He's clearly put a lot of thought into the rooms and making them both attractive and comfortable. He has bikes you can use for free to cycle around the village, which is a lovely way to experience the area. I also highly recommend doing his boat tour! It's a bit more expensive than the other touristic boat tours in the area, but in my opinion totally worth it. You'll see much more than with the typical tourist boats (but you'll still see the same things they see too, so you aren't missing anything), and have a much more local and enjoyable experience. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I also recommend doing the full board option and eating all your meals at Martin's, as there aren't any other restaurants nearby and also Mimi is a wonderful cook. You won't go hungry! She always prepares a feast! I'm grateful to Martin for his hospitality and whole heartedly recommend staying here to enjoy life on the Mekong delta.

Staff was absolutely amazing and we did a floating market trip in a private boat which was very pleasant. You have bikes available to explore the small island and lot of privacy in your villa. Surprisingly, no bugs. Seems that during the weekend there are more families and more kids, so a bit less quiet. Watch out for potential naughty monkeys:p

Swimming pool was frequently enjoyed by our kids, free bikes to ride around the country were great, and the tour of the floating markets was incredible (thanks Johnny and Haha!! The most awesome tour guide and captain). Dogs (coffee and pepper) were a bit hit with our kids as well. Absolutely perfect. Thank-you! We hope to be back in the future :)

Situated on the banks of the Can Tho River, Victoria Can Tho Resort offers 4-star comfort in a quiet area in Can Tho city. Featuring colonial-style architecture, it is set amidst gardens with exotic plants, where guests can relax while sunbathing by the outdoor pool with a drink. We went on 3 excursions: sunset, lush countryside and the floating market. All of them were worth the expense but hands down the “Lush countryside” excursion was the best! Trung was a great guide and seeing how the locals lived and their livelihoods was great. The bike ride is easy and so worthwhile! Great hotel, fantastic breakfast and lots of options for dinner. Would definitely go back!
