Wi-Fi is free. The rooms are large and very pretty. The location is very good, close to both the Rambla and to the Punta Carretas shopping center. The breakfast was very good - with a self serve buffet plus you can also order from an "egg menu" that includes scrambled eggs, for free within the breakfast buffet, those are made to order.

My wife and I stayed at the Puertovideo apartments (one bedroom apt) for five nights in October 2024. We were absolutely delighted with the place! The area looks a little sketchy, especially when we arrived at the weekend. However, we soon realized that most of the streets in the old town looked the same and we had no problems coming and going, day or late at night. It reminded us of midtown New York. The location was perfect, with all the old town attractions within walking distance. The Apt was gorgeous, very modern, spacious and had everything we needed. All the appliances were new, and the bed was huge and very comfortable. Dirk (the owner) was in touch with us well in advance of our stay, and the lovely Betha took care of us from check-in. They were very friendly, helpful, very responsive, and we lacked nothing over our stay. All in all, great value for money and a great place to stay in Montevideo!
