The pool area includes a pirate ship and palms. This place was a very happy surprise in so many ways! We really did not know what to expect from a pirate-themed resort but we had a beautiful and very comfortable room. Mid-week and off-season, we had the whole resort practically to ourselves. It is situated on the water so we enjoyed a morning walk around the property. The breakfast buffet was fabulous! I can't imagine what the resort is like during the summer, it must be crazy busy with the amusement park. But if I lived near, I would definitely take my grandkids for a couple of days.
