Tambo del Inka, a luxury establishment located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, is the only hotel in Urubamba that has a private train station with connections to Machu Picchu. The property has a swimming pool and spa. This was our second time to go to this hotel. I like so much the rooms, the huge common spaces and the wellness. The coffee machine in the room is a real extra. We traveld to Machu Picchu with the train (from the hotel’s train station) - it’s very comfy.

Everything was better than expected, the location was great, the room and facilities too, good food... Our Spa Pumacahua Bath House is a colonial house from the seventeenth century located on one side of the hotel’s corn terraces. Rescued by our restoration and archeology team, it contains the hotel Spa where our guests can enjoy massages, the swimming pool, hot tubs and saunas. Everything! Amazing guides, staff. Cocktails are amazing and food is pretty good as well! We’ve rented the bikes and gone around town and also visited Machu Picchu for a day.
