A minimarket is available at the campground. Scenic location, clean and comfortable campsite, very nice management, top communication. We were also able to buy meat for a spontaneous braai and received a lot of helpful recommendations for exploring the area. Very well located for visiting Sossusvlei. One of our favorite campsites on our roadtrip.

Initially, I was hesitant to choose this property because the photos on the booking page don’t reflect its true essence, the images are low-quality, amateur, and not updated. Based on the pictures alone, I had doubts about the cleanliness and overall quality compared to the price. However, the camp completely exceeded my expectations. It’s a true treat and an authentic Namibian experience. The location is absolutely perfect, right between Windhoek, Walvis Bay, and the Sesriem/Sossusvlei road. If you stay here, you will save a lot of long-distance driving while visiting the must-see places in the region.

Each of the units at Agama Lodge has a deck area with views of the Naukluft Mountains. They also include a writing area, and a private bathroom with a shower. I was looking for a place that is between Swakopmund, Sossuvlei from Windhoek. This place is statically located in the middle. So I went to Soss one day and upon checking out I saved over an hour to drive to Swakopmund. Value for money, the room was spacious with rooftop, you can tan & watch stars later at night. Stunning Mountain View from the lodge and the restaurant . Staff were very welcoming and kind, they made me feel like home. Food was amazing! Chef was generous. Most importantly booked a private tour to the dunes, the guild Silva and the driver were amazing! They were very helpful and knowledgeable, Silva walked with me from the parking to the top of the Big Daddy dune, he knew how to take awesome pictures and videos too. The tour was included park fees as well.

Desert Camp’s units have a private entrance and a kitchenette with an electric kettle and a refrigerator. All rooms are decorated with the colours of the Namib Desert and have power points for hairdryers and shavers. Wow, what a place they have created in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful cottages with a groovy outdoor kitchen and bbq (that’s braii for some!). Very comfortable rooms, great hot showers, pretty good wifi in bar area only and a swimming pool too ( brrrr in june!) staff are so friendly and can provide and deliver food to your cottage. They also supply a kitchen box with all untensils, frypan, saucepan, plates etc. Electric cooktop in outside kitchen plus kettle and fridge. You just sit on your porch and admire the stunning views whilst cooking, amazing!

Situated just 22 km from Duwisib Castle, At Kronenhof Campsites provides accommodation in Sesriem with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as luggage storage space.
