I’d describe our stay as value for money. We didn’t pay much for two nights but we got sweet staff, great breakfast, a nice swimming pool and a good and modern treadmill which I appreciated a lot. The hotel contacted us before arriving and arranged a full day of safari for us. We (my girlfriend and I) got picked up by Channa at 4.30 am and had one of the best days of our lives. We saw three leopards fighting and playing and our driver Channa was so good and found the leopards in the early morning. He had 18 years of experience and I hope everyone else gets the chance to go safari at Yala National Park with Channa

Yakaduru Yala is located on the buffer Zone of Yala National Park. It's just 5 minutes away from the Yala National Park Entrance. Yakaduru is renowned for its architecture and tourism, where guest can stay in properties built by Mud and palm thatched roofing. Yakaduru Yala runs on renewable energy sources, and features free WiFi, on-site parking and a barbecue facility. We came to Yakaduru camp and had breakfast with delicious Sri Lankan traditional meals. Before we arrived, we could plan everything, like what food we wanted and what experiences we wanted to have. Their contact lines were very friendly and helped us plan our stay nicely, so we felt safe coming here. We got to experience so many things, like visiting the chena, going on a Yala safari, having tea on the rock, going on bush walks, driving to the beach, and having a hoppers night. The staff was really friendly and always made sure we were comfortable. During our two-day stay, we had a good and comfortable environment. It felt like we were at home. So, thank you to the Yakaduru staff for everything, and a special thank you to the owners for creating such a good vibe for visitors.

I left some items at the hotel and they helped me organize the transport of those items to my next location. I really appreciated that 🙏🏼 the property is humble but very clean, orderly and nice.

I am so glad I booked into Leopard Reach as my base for the Yala National Park because I had a truly unforgettable taste of luxury in the jungle. I loved it so much, I stayed two nights. This is a truly special place, with only a few tent-lodges. In fact, I was the only guest on the property, and was treated like a queen. The interior of my room was top quality, with all amenities. And the private mini pool on the terrace was extremely welcome. On both nights I had an exceptional dinner; the first night consisted of a Sri Lankan curry with so many lovely dishes, and the second was an al fresco BBQ, prepared just for me. Breakfast was served on my private terrace. I cannot speak highly enough of Fonseka, the General Manager (the quintessential host) and his trusty team of Randika (what a great guy), Lakruwan (who makes the place run like clockwork) and Kasun (the Chef).
