Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and manager The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) and the restaurant supervisor deserves a special thanks. We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. The second day we did a village trekking which was guided by sanath, who works as a waiter in the hotel as well. Sanath is such a warm personality and highly motivated guide (recommendable!). I truly enjoyed walking through the village. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The natural bath on the end was a great way to end the trekking. Note, this is not a 4/5-star hotel or so, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the manager Rosh who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality.

We had a great stay here. This place is brand new so the rooms are clean,bed is comfy and shower is great for a cheap price relative to what you get. They have a pool also, which is critical as sigiriya is very hot and you need to cool down sometimes. Breakfast had everything you need, The staff was very attentive and friendly. The location is good, not that far from the rocks and has restaurants in a walkable distance Wifi signal was a bit slow

The property is non-smoking and is set 5.8 km from Pidurangala Rock. Awesome location right in the jungle. We saw monkeys, squirrels and other wildlife. The cabana is basic but a decent size, it worked well for our family of 3. It's an easy walk or tuktuk to cafes, restaurants and activities. A delicious breakfast is served in their covered outdoor eating area and was different each day. The staff were great and happy to arrange our transportation, elephant safari and laundry service. Even though it rained heavily almost the entire time we were in Sigiriya we really enjoyed our time here.

There are plenty of options to spend extended time on-site, whether you want to enjoy the tranquility of nature or use the facilities like the gym, pool, or snooker table. We only wish we could have stayed more nights
