You can easily walk north to the buzzy Nishiki area and Oasis 21/museums, and southwest to the Osu Shotengai Shopping Street. One evening I made a reservation for the hotel’s warm pool, steam room, onsen, and sauna. It was extremely relaxing and the facilities were fantastic. They even have swim suits to borrow for free. The hotel room itself was very impressive, including a nice view of the city with floor to ceiling windows. The bathroom is spacious and featured heated floors. I will stay at this hotel again.

Having a 15m or so lap pool in a hotel was a nice thing. Onsen/ hot bath was good to have as well. There is also a gym and tennis court. Breakfast was a good mix of options for western or Japanese.

Staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Lovely onsen with views over the bay.
