The dinner at the restaurant was also excellent - highly recommend having steak there. The receptionists, waiters, all staff were so friendly. It was a truly wonderful stay.

Agriturismo Villa Guarnaschelli is a 17th-century villa set in the hills around Florence and offers panoramic views from its tower and courtyard. The garden features the villa's original stone olive press. Nice location with views out over surrounding countryside. Very clean. Bus stop close to property, just a short walk along a quiet lane and bus will take you into Florence.

Villa Nottola is a former noble residence in the countryside of Montepulciano, besides the namesake winery. It offers a sun terrace with swimming pool.

The elegant rooms of Villa Nottola feature ceilings with original wooden beams and brick vaults. The walls are painted in soft natural colours matching the Tuscan art furnishings. Everything about Villa Notolla is exceptional. Of all the places I've stayed in all over the world, this is a favorite. Without being pretentious, the entire property is charming and comfortable. The pool's setting among olive trees, the courtyards, the vineyards, the staff, the restaurant, and both rooms I've booked (2011 and 2024) were delightful. I will not miss staying there again next time I'm in Italy.

Of all the places, my wife and I, have stayed at the resort was by far the best
