The place is stunning, from every angle, totally unique and slightly quirky. The breakfast is excellent, and the restaurant is divine - elegant, very good food and waiters - without feeling overly fussy. The recommendations for things to do in the area brought us to places we would never have found on our own and took us off the tourist trail - including excellent, local restaurants. But like every experience - the thing that made the place truly magic were the people, the staff, they really care about your experience and the hospitality is so genuine and kind. 8 days we will always remember. Highly, highly recommended.

The location is fantastic as it's not too far away from Florence and lies between Chianti and Val D'Orcia (if you want to cover both). Their restaurant serves some really well done local cuisine. We ended up having dinner there on two days and the staff took great care of us. They also have a really nice breakfast spread so we were all fueled up each morning. I can't thank the staff at the reception and both their restaurants enough, they were truly exceptional!
