For coffee lovers - coffee made by host in the morning, during breakfast, is a top notch Italian coffee! In general, we felt better here than in many 5* resorts.

Had an amazing breakfast served outside in a courtyard with beautiful surroundings. We so enjoyed the historic paintings in our room and the Historical connection of the Villa. We were exploring the sites of World War 2 around Foli and Faenza and the Senio River Stockbanks were my father fought for the New Zealand Army for the liberating of this region before being wounded at the Senio in 1944-45. We visited the WW2 Commonwealth Cemetery at Faenza which was very moving.

This place had an amazing atmosphere and felt like a little safe haven in the middle of nowhere. Very remote area but also gorgeous and very relaxing. Mirabilandia is an easy 25 minute walk. The hosts are so nice and welcoming. So far this is the best hotel I've stayed at on my trip!
