The hotel shuttle was broken so Salvatore made everything to take us to the bus station by car to continue with our trip. Great service.

Parking is secure with a locked gate, 24 hours a day. I would recommend this property and if I ever return to Paestum, I would stay here again.

Set on a hillside 2 km from the centre of Sorrento, Hotel La Badia offers an outdoor swimming pool, air-conditioned accommodation and a terrace with panoramic views of the Bay of Naples. On-site parking is free. This hotel, without previously knowing me, helped me arrange a special request I will forever be grateful for! Besides, the hotel is very enchanting, elegant, and authentic, reminiscent of rustic Italian haciendas, with many terraces full of plants offering sea views (even breakfast is served on a beautiful terrace directly overlooking the sea) and beautiful gardens all around the property; it's practically an estate. You need to be there to fully experience the vibe, but it is on par with much more expensive accommodations you can find in Tuscany, for example. Our room was cute with a direct view of the sea, Mount Vesuvius, and the Sorrento coastline. Everybody from the staff was incredibly hospitable, dedicated and pleasant. This could be a luxurious 5-star hotel with certain upgrades, but I think it's better to stay exactly as it is, offering authentic experience at a reasonable price.

Wi-Fi is free throughout. Location was perfect - very close to the main square but also about 4 minutes walk away from the main square to give some peace. Staff were amazing and so helpful and polite.
