It is a good place for see the northern light, outside hot tub like a Japan onsen but the water temperature not hot enough,staff very helpful and room clean and comfortable. we will stay it again .

very pleasant stay at the Laugar hotel, everything is very good here, a warm welcome, pretty and clean rooms, the breakfast included in the price is great, thank you to the hotel team

The room was warm and clean, and in a good location for parking / getting out and exploring Akureyri + the surrounding area. A small playground on the same street was helpful for keeping kids entertained + very near the excellent swimming pool.

Great place, super peaceful. Only open in the summer, rest of the year is a school, but with all the facilities we are expecting in a hotel. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Near to a public swimming pool, with hot tube.

The apartment was comfortable and spacious with a well equipped kitchen. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at K16 but were not aware previously that there was a washing machine and dryer available to guests. This is an added bonus and we found it very useful. We also visited the swimming pool which is just up the road from K16 and I would recommend it.

Beautiful view, beautiful, spacious house, we loved the hot tub and the BBQ on the terrace and there were northern lights almost every evening! The location is perfect, very much in the nature, with its wild and gorgeous river, but still close to the grocery store, the swimming pool and a nice restaurant. We also loved the bird island next to the cottages. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. We will definitely come back often!
