We were delighted when we stumbled across Hotel Naren Villa quite by chance. It proved to be one of the highlights of our visit to Udaipur! A new hotel (it's only been open a couple of months), Hotel Naren has a beautiful aesthetic, and the finishes are outstanding! The staff are fabulous! Good humoured, fun, kind, caring, professional & hospitable. The accommodation is superb! Our room was large in size. The beds were super comfy and dressed with beautiful cotton sheets. There was ample hot water when we wanted to shower. The mini fridge in the room was a bonus. What impressed us no end was how impeccably clean it was! The restaurant is well appointed, located on the 4th floor, accessible by lift. The view of City Palace from the restaurant is exceptional. We loved watching the parakeets in the trees whilst eating breakfast. The breakfast host, Geebs, was most entertaining. For breakfast, we enjoyed the Marsala Omelette daily, but there were other options available depending on one's personal preference. The other dishes we enjoyed over dinner were equally delicious! They even prepared one of our favourite dishes which wasn't on the menu! Service is clearly a priority at Hotel Naren Villa and one gets the impression that nothing is too much trouble for the staff.

The hotel is from 2023, beautifully decorated, incredibly clean and with staff available at all times. Great quiet location a little outside of Puska. We walked or payed 100-200 for a rickshaw into the city. The food is among some of the best we’ve had in India too. Great selection of both Indian and continental breakfast. Cannot recommend high enough

The hotel kindly permitted me a free late check-out so I could rest, provided medicine and gave me some dry toast and curd mid-afternoon before my train.

The staff was very friendly, fulfilling all our needs. The room was small, but very nicely decorated and clean, with a large and clean bathroom and a large and very comfortable bed. The WIFI worked perfectly.
