Breakfasts were home cooked with local ingredients and we enjoyed them all. Helpful suggestions to explore the island and all staff really friendly. We tried all 3 local restaurants and all were great. Family run by former Aussies - what’s not to like!!

Free WiFi and free parking are provided. Very nice apartments, on top of the hill, with a nice sea and mountains view from the balcony. We had three bedrooms and three bathrooms, big livingroom and a full kitchen, that we used for making breakfasts. All rooms and balcony were furnished and in good condition. Two parking spaces were provided in the basement of our building and many activities (gym, pool, beach club, sporting courts) were included in the rental price. Check-in was easy, staff were very friendly and helpful and found solutions to every little issue. They co-operate with local company who provides transport with electric golg carts (vehicles) to Korcula port and old town for reasonable price. So no need to travel to town with a car and have trouble finding a parking space.

It is a €15, 10 minute taxi ride from Korcula Town but taxis always available & arrive within 10 minutes. Visit the lovely village of Zrnovo & Tasovac Winery. It’s a 45 minute walk from Taras Lodge & uphill, but great views & feel like you’ve earned the wine. Mimi’s Bistro is very good, 2 for 1 cocktail happy hour at 4-6pm is great after a swim to cool off after a day siteseeing. Feels like 2 holidays in 1 with easily accessible Korcula Town & the escape to this beautiful bay.

Very easy going town, great food and lots of wine tasting around. Was there for 2 weeks. Owners suggested great restaurant, tried all the suggestions and loved them all. Beautiful view from my 2nd story appartment. Spacious lots of light and fresh breezes. Not a lot of shelves/chest of drawers to put your stuff away but made it work with a bit of creativity. Beautiful pool and lots of comfy lounge changes, bean bags and to sorts. If I ever go back to Croatia I'll be sure to stop by again.

We spent two wonderful weeks in "The Secret Garden Villa". Our whole stay was just perfect - from the warm welcome of Izabella and Chris to the beautiful surrounding of the house with plants and olive trees and the most amazing sunrise and (!) sunset. We very much enjoyed all the different corners and details of the property which are beautifully arranged. The best part - within five minutes you can reach your private spot by the sea, where you can chill in the shadows of the pine trees.
