We loved the paradise Peter has created, the meals, the location. Mowgli was especially helpful in getting us around to the ruins and the beach and then back home again.

The views of the lake are breathtaking, and the tranquil atmosphere made our stay so enjoyable. One of the highlights was having access to water equipment like kayaks, which were included in the stay—such a great perk for exploring the lake. We were pleasantly surprised by the food, especially after reading some of the previous reviews. Out of curiosity, we spoke to the hotel staff about the feedback, and they mentioned they’ve been working hard to improve. It shows! The included breakfast was absolutely delicious and gave us the perfect start to our day. The staff were wonderful—always friendly and eager to help. Getting around the property was seamless, as we never had to wait for a golf cart to take us to our room. Overall, this property exceeded our expectations. From the stunning views to the thoughtful amenities and excellent service, it was a truly memorable experience. Highly recommend it!

There is also a poolside bar and a bar with a pool table. The location in a natural reserve with a private beach is exceptional. The facilities are very well kept and staff go above and beyond to make your stay in the hotel and experience in Peten a trip to remember. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. This is likely one of the most beautiful places to stay in Peten, the hotel has incredible views of lake Peten Itza at pretty much every corner. A cool funicular that will take you to the a small dock on the lower part, where you will be able to jump in the lake and continue to admire the scenery. To that you can add really nice food at the restaurant that has enough variety to not taste the same food on a week long trip. But, the best thing about this place is it’s amazing staff, they are so welcoming and friendly, they will treat you like family. They gave us a lot of tips about where to go and how to get there, they always welcomed us back with a smile, a cold towel and a clean room.

Relax in their outdoor pool watching spider monkey play in trees outside your room. They boast a tropical rustic style decor with beautiful thatched cottages and restaurant. Accomodations offer stunning views of the tropical rainforest, private bathrooms included free toiletries, ceiling fans and bed linen. Great service, comfortable and clean. The food was fairly priced and really tasty.

We are fortunate guardians and protectors of the Tikal National Park and we respect the standards established by the Ministry of Culture of Guatemala, limiting the use of electrical generators within the park, the schedules established with an electricity supply that operates during the following hours: 5:30 to 8:00 AM, 13:00 to 15:00 and 17:00 to 22:00 PM The hotel has free wifi internet service in common areas: reception and pool. The property is wonderful and the restaurant is very good.
