It's a very short walk to the small train station which we used multiple times to visit Mundaka, Bermeo and Gernika. You could even go straight through to Bilbao in an hour if you wanted. As a result it meant we used our hire car alot less than we thought we would need to. Much more relaxing. The Urdabai area is stunning. Beautiful beaches, pretty harbours and green rolling hills as a backdrop. And the food is amazing... 😀
