I consider myself a relatively picky person, so when I say that this was easily one of the best resort experiences I've had, I think that really says a lot. This was my first time at an all-inclusive resort, and the staff were incredibly polite, professional, and thoughtful. The room was very spacious, cleaned daily, and our room cleaner always left cute little designs on the beds which I thought added a thoughtful touch. Also the beds were suuuuper comfortable, especially the pillows which says a lot because I'm someone who never uses pillows because I can never find any that are comfy for me and the way that I sleep. I think they also offered like a pillow menu so they could bring you one that best worked for you. There were a variety of food options (I think honestly the Beach Bar restaurant had the best lunch, we went there literally every single day. We also may have developed an addiction to the spicy margaritas lol). The resort itself is very well maintained and absolutely beautiful. There are a series of other resorts next to Alaya and I really felt like we made the best decision in picking this one. It's also easy walking to both the coral and the regular beach. They had events every afternoon and evening so there was always a little something to do for everyone. Overall a great experience and I definitely will be going back!

There was so much to like about Gemma. The grounds were wonderful. Always kept clean and maintained. The pool was fabulous. Big and warm and full of activity. Meals were delicious. We loved the variety and choices. The freshly grilled fish and paella were wonderful. We especially enjoyed the Egyptian meal at alidino restaurant. Our housekeeper was so nice and always there to help. He left us treats and surprises. My husband got sick and there is a fabulous doctor on site. He sent us to hospital and the resort took care of the rides back and forth. They made it so much easier. Our room was big and had everything we needed.

We were lucky to receive an upgrade to a room with wonderful sea & lagoon view. Rooms are very spacious with plenty of storage, large TV and a super balcony. Ours had a view over the amazing private beach that surrounds the Palace hotel, over the entrance to the lagoon and all the ship entering and the desert on the other side. Unforgettable panorama at dawn (05.30h in April) and technicolor sunsets :-). Totally quiet at night. Super attentive room service; waterbottles and fruit. - The garden with the numerous large palm trees, its large lawns and its sea of flowers is meticulously kept. Fresh towels are provided daily for the pool and the beach. The very long pontoon offers fantastic views for everybody. Snorkeling is possible from there or on a large portion of the beach. Colourful fish everywhere. Highly recommended scuba diving center is right near the Palace Pickalbatros with lessons and excursions. - We loved the food, especially the egyptian and the indian dishes. We started our days with omelettes, pancakes freshly made for breakfast, incredible goyavas fresh and pressed. -The entrance to the Palace Pickalbatros hotel is truly majestic, as is the large lobby and the bar with its terrace overlooking the artificial lagoon of the neighboring hotel . - All staff in the amazing Palace Pickalbatros hotel are very well trained and respectful. They work really hard to make guests feel at home and pampered. A big thanks and congratulations to the manager, Mr Mina for the amazing job.

Clean, comfortable, very friendly staff specially Adel in the restaurant & Mahmoud in the reception who gave us a fantastic introduction to the place facilities. Beach was clean with smooth & instant services. Room view was lovely!

Brand new resort, wonderfully clean and well-maintained. Excellent all-inclusive selection at meals, and some lovely restaurant options that are also included. Staff was friendly and helpful at all times, and more than willing to stop and chat. Good selection of pools and immediate access to a nice beach area, with a diving centre and house reef that we took advantage of with a scuba diving session which was a highlight of our trip. Overall great value for money, especially when considering the meals and the fact that alcohol is included in the all-inclusive price.

Wonderful and acommodating staff! The room is big, clean and cleaned daily, all toileterries provided, terrace is wonderful, equipped and beautiful view inclusive of sound of the waves! 😊 The pool is big, area around is spacious and all staff is extremely kind and helpful. I liked that its stress free zone, no overcommunication but just as normal. They promote wellness and peace, have beautiful gardens and nice beach access with jetties. Wonderful Karen's room, free fruit all day, clean water to drink, and many more details. The two main highlights for me are - cuisine, that means kitchen and their staff! They are simply wonderful, dishes are carefully curated with daily selection and fresh, specific good tastes where you find adequate mix of traditional and modern. Yhe staff greets us for every meal and is wonderful to communicate with, always helpful and nice coffee on spot, desserts as well. The chef is great person and super kind! Another one is Red Sea Project next to lodge, its a must visit!!! Their organisation, daily trips, knowledgable staff and commitment to values of nature, its preservation and no mass tourism is what striked us. We went to daily excursion to Wadi Gemal and half day excursion where we saw green turttle and dugong, its a lifetime experience and I well recommend you support their cause! All in all, the fantastic 5 days ending to our two weeks trip, simply 5 stars!

The hotel is beautiful, clean, and very well organized. This is my second time visiting the hotel, and honestly, the same level of order and cleanliness was maintained.
