The open living area below the rooms has a lovely, homely feel. Very Nubian. Eslam was very hospitable. He offered to organise anything without being pushy. We took advantage of his personal river tour and were put on his boat for 4 -hours. Aswan is beautiful. A complete juxtaposition of Cairo's chaos. The river here, near the dam is pristine and clean.. We swam at a golden sand beach reminiscent of a Mediterranean beach.

The staff were excellent and really helpful. They have a fully functional kitchen and an indoor pool which was essential after a day out in the scorching sun! They also offer laundry service or if you want to do laundry yourself. Stop looking and book the hotel!
