It’s a pity that I couldn’t use all of the facility since it was a short stay, but it was the most memorable stay in my visit to Egypt. Her communication made my stay definitely comfortable, and you’ll know how difficult that is to acquire when a lot of people here try to rip you off.

Guests enjoy a wide variety of services that include babysitting, airport shuttle, bicycle or car rental service. What a little oasis in the heart of Luxor with an adorable garden. Our two years old loves the garden and the flamingos. The breakfast is delicious as well.

We were considering staying at Sofitel winter palace but it was not available for our dates. Eventually we were so happy to have booked Steigenberger instead. Compared to Sofitel, it is place directly on Nile, offering amazing views and multiple F&B options. Staff was very helpful, facilities are nice and rooms are quiet and comfortable.

The owner was very kind and allowed me a late check-in due to my evening flight. Just a minute’s walk from the property is the Nile, where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and watch hot air balloons floating in the morning sky. The room I stayed in offered a partial Nile view. It’s an affordable, comfortable place, and I highly recommend it.

If you have spent more than 30 minutes looking for where to stay in Luxor, you will already know that the accommodations you will find in Luxor will be of three types: - Hotels with an unbeatable price (believe me, they will not meet your expectations despite the investment) - Surprisingly cheap hotels with major shortcomings that will make your trip a mediocre experience (lack of cleanliness, rickety furniture, unbearable traffic noise, poor staff attention) - Golden Life Apartments (a gem that you should evaluate as your best option) The advantages are many: - It's on the west side. It is an area away from the commotion of the East side and so close to the monuments that you can arrive before anyone else to see them. It is the truly genuine side of Luxor where you will see real Egyptian life and where you will find small restaurants on the banks of the Nile with the essence you are looking for. Don't worry about the distance to the East side of the Nile. Crossing to the other side will take you less than 4 minutes and the price is ridiculous. - The pool is private and you only share it with two other apartments. A space where you will relax after exhausting days. You can drink whatever you want (including alcohol) on the pool terrace and at any time. - They speak English (Sari is European). Language is a barrier that causes confusion and can complicate your trip. - The treatment of Sari and her husband Ahmed is impeccable. Whatever you need you will have it instantly. The human team is very polite and friendly (in line with the hospitality you will find throughout the country). - Don't bother looking for excursions elsewhere. They will provide you with any imaginable excursion, transfers, driver, guide, recommendations... Believe them when they give you a price. It is exhausting to negotiate every step you take in the country without feeling like you are being scammed as a tourist. They will give you reasonable prices.

The Bedouin Lodge offers a fantastic opportunity to relax, sleep, and dine in a rustic, authentic setting. The rooms are private, clean, and well-sized, with private bathrooms that are fully equipped. The breakfast features very tasty, fresh food, and they can accommodate vegetarians upon request. The hangout areas are great; my wife and I enjoyed every sunset there. Its proximity to all the sites on the west bank is a major plus, and they can offer very competitive prices for experiences like hot air balloon rides. We will definitely return!

Both a bicycle rental service and a car rental service are available at the accommodation, while cycling can be enjoyed nearby. The host, Mustafa and Ali were awesome. Totally recommended.
