The Country Club at the Steigenberger Treudelberg features a big sauna area, an indoor pool, and a fitness centre. Massages and beauty treatments are on offer. I loved the whole Hotel, which is part of a golf club ressort, including the pool, which I recall was one of the main reasons I booked this Hotel on short notice being on a little road trip during late winter time in north of Germany, so still during off season. The room actually had some interesting design elements, which I might get or even build myself next time I (re)decorate my house. And the breakfast buffet was amazing, these kind of buffets one rarely finds these days anymore, even in (considered) higher class Hotels. Very nice. The staff overall was business like friendly. But a special thanks to the host, and kitchen staff there too, at the Bistro 19, who still let me order some food although I showed up 5 minutes ish prior closure time without me knowing they close at 6 pm. And also to one of the barkeepers at Treudelbar, who made me feel very welcome, by having more than just a businesslike friendliness and word with me, and even recognised me and which drink I had, when I showed up the second day of my stay.
