The location is amazing if you are into hiking and the hotel also organizes tours, so you can just check with the tour desk. Don't forget the use the swing!

Ideal for short stopovers – I originally planned this as a two‑night rest to avoid a long drive after a flight. While I didn’t have time for the spa, its generally praised 1,000 m² wellness area shows just how full a longer stay could be. Impeccable cleanliness – I hold very high standards for hygiene; the room and public areas surpassed them entirely.

Would not go anywhere else on our return to Berchtesgaden.

The garden includes a sunbathing lawn. The staff members were incredibly kind, and the restaurant served high-quality meals for all their menu items. The SPA experience was truly amazing, and the kids enjoyed every second of it.

The hut is really nice and clean. There are cosy places to sit outside and a small lake where you can swim and enjoy the sun. Breakfast and dinner were great. The people working here are also super friendly. One important thing, you can only reach it by foot in a 1h-hike (if you’re fit in 45 min) so keep that in mind.

The layout of the entire property was excellent for families. the children’s park near the picnic area allowed kids to play and parents to relax. the rooms with bunk beds for families were so appreciated and a rare find in Europe. the food was excellent at both breakfast and dinner. the bar and bar staff were top notch. the provided robes and towels were a wonderful touch.
