Last year we stayed in Janske Lazne and cycled past the "Hotel Vydrovy boudy Pec pod Sněžkou", and we said, next time we come to Pec we have to stay there. And we just stayed there, as a family of four and our dog. What do we love about it ? The location is magnificent, it is on the plateau at the top of the mountain, you feel like you are on top of the world, it is a recently built mountain chalet, and done in a beautiful style, we had the half board and the breakfast and evening meal were absolutely perfect. The hotel is run by the owner who is very friendly and very helpful with local knowledge, where to hike, where to stop for lunch. In the evening you have beautiful sunsets with views which stretch for tens of miles, at night there is a quietness which cannot be matched. We need to explore Pec more, and we will be staying here again next time and using it as our base. What more to say, Hotel Vydrovy boudy Pec pod Sněžkou is a gem, enjoy it.

Our apartment included everything we could possibly wish for (comfortable bedroom, nice kitchen with dining area, spacious bathroom and parking) and way more (laundry room, equipped outdoor garden, helpful guides of the area). The host was lovely, ensured we were well informed and helped with suggestions. Looking forward to staying here again!

Breakfast was prepared with such love and care, and it truly showed in every bite. We’d come back in a heartbeat, no questions asked. Our only regret is that we didn’t have enough time to enjoy the pool or spend a bit longer there.

The food in the restaurant was phenomenal, along with the breakfast in the morning. All the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. I would definitely come again.
