It’s a 15min drive from town.

The gardens were beautifully maintained and we saw parrots, hummingbirds and loads of other birds each day.

What a beautiful place. The views are superb to the lake and the volcano. The trails are amazing with a wonderful range of wildlife, and the number of different brightly coloured birds we could watch from the deck really was spectacular. Shame we only had one night there but the staff were happy for us to stay as long as we wanted (we left at about 5pm) on the day that we left.

The area is popular for cycling, and car hire is available at Arenal Manoa Resort & Hot Springs. the resort felt like a nice neighborhood. the king suite rooms were duplex and very spacious. There was a little fridge in the room too. we loved the thermal pools since it was cool while we were there. they are like a regular pol with warm spring water. the food was very good and plentiful with a variety.
