The hotel also features free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The pool was a great way to escape the midday heat and crowds on the beach. The food was well prepared. I appreciated that there was always somewhere for hotel guests to sit and relax, even with day time visitors.

The view from the glamping and the place itself is just unreal. The room is just perfect with a fan and an aircon. The staff made us feel really like at home and the food was exceptional, with fresh ingredients that were clearly sourced locally and hence, very natural. You have to try the piñacolada in La Cabaña as it is the best on the island. Mr Antonio is a gentleman, he collected us from the Cartagena airport and brought us to the island. It is indeed a different and wonderful experience when getting to the island. We came across great people from the island, from the staff in the hotel and the lovely people who sell stuff on the beach, unlike others complaining about these people "being annoying" we took the time to speak to them and know more about themselves. Our recommendation, be friendly and polite and if you don't want to buy anything just say "no, thank you very much" and they won't bother you. Remember that these people live from tourism and they are welcoming us to their place. It does make a difference in the time you pick to go. In our case, we went on a Monday and Tuesday (the 5th and 6th of June) there so it wasn't that crowded. What a place to stay! The island is just perfect. Highly recommended.
