I spent a few days here relaxing after a trek in the jungle. The staff was super helpful, providing me with rides to and from Leticia as well as to and from the airport. The restaurant was delicious and the chef was able to accomodate for my various dietary restrictions! I highly recommend Cabanas Yakuruna!

Deusa and her husband were amazing during our staying in the hotel. The place has a great location - not in downtown but easy access and in a very quiet area. The food is also very delicious there. We felt very well welcome and we love the days we spent there.

The food was very good, usually fish from the river. At night the jungle birds and frogs sing you to sleep. It’s not a place for the squeamish, we had a tarantula on our ceiling, but the mosquito nets work well and you really get a chance to be surrounded by the Amazon rain forest. The tours they offer are very reasonably priced, but there are also plenty of places to just hang out and enjoy the nature. The common areas were very social and we had some great conversations with the other guests. Also, the staff was especially welcoming and made us feel at home right away. It was really cool to be able to talk to people who live in the Amazon and hear a little bit about daily life here. Overall, this was a huge highlight for us.
