The hotel has huge riverside lawns, rice paddies a lotus pond and a swimming pool surrounded by gardens. The poolside restaurant offers Chinese and Western cuisine, coffee desserts and a variety of wines and beers. Coffee and tea are free all day. Wooden furnishings and wood fireplaces make you feel fine and warm. Central air conditioning, high-quality beds, and five-star hotel-standard sanitation make your holiday in the country home-like. This is the most beautiful setting for a hotel, overlooking the river and a view of the mountains it is so tranquil! The interiors are lovely and modern, and they offer free afternoon tea every day which was such a lovely touch. The staff were so kind and made us feel very welcome. They helped us to plan our itinerary, transfers and we hired electric scooters from them too. We couldn’t have asked for more, we just wish we had longer! (One thing to note is that the bikes are not free that are mentioned in the description- but they aren’t expensive either)

Darongshu Scenic Area is a 23-minute drive away, while Shutong Mountain can be reached in 16 minutes by car. The value for money was incredible, so was the view from the room. The guys at the reception spoke fluent English.

Just 5 km from Yangshuo, The Giggling Tree is an unique guest house which is located in the tiny village of Little Mountain Gate. It features traditional farmhouses, a beautiful courtyard and an outdoor swimming pool. Free WiFi access is available. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We loved the location, such a beautiful place. The family suite was great for the 5 of us, and being able to take bikes around was great. The food was excellent, and we can't wait to stay again one day!

The view is amazing, don't be stingy and get the best room with a balcony. It's a 30-minute walk to the center, or a 5-minute taxi ride for 10 yuan.
