Valentina welcomed us and we felt at home from the first moment. The room was wonderful, decorated with fresh hibiscus flowers and a hand written welcome note and reflected the tropical paradise of Rapa Nui around us. In the room there was everything one would need during the stay. Cooker, kettle, toaster, fridge, dishes, pots and cutlery. Even Nespresso capsules were provided. The hotel is located at the very end of Hanga Roa, very close to Ahu Tahai where one can witness the most beautiful sunset of Rapa Nui. During our stay works of installing a pool were ongoing, so very soon the hotel will also feature an outdoor pool. The city centre is a 20 minute walk along the coast away, passing Ahu Tahai and the city beach and the harbour where one can spot a turtle family of three who lives there. Māuru-uru for everything. We will definitely be back at Rapa Nui and Tahai Loft.
