It’s truly a special place that I’m always excited to return to.

It offers a large park with an outdoor wellness area with sauna and cooling pool. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The landscapes around the hotel are stunning and the outside spa merges with the views perfectly.

Family-run for 150 years, the Boutique Hotel Balm is located in a green suburb of Lucerne and features a gourmet restaurant with fish and other specialities and offers free WiFi in all rooms. The hotel also offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. Staying here was truly a memorable experience, made even better by the outstanding staff who went above and beyond to accommodate us. I was in Lucerne to compete in the Swiss City Marathon, and they graciously prepared an early breakfast to fit my race schedule. Edith at reception was incredibly thoughtful, taking time to calm my nerves and ensuring I had everything I needed for the big day. It was the kind of personal touch that’s rare to find and so appreciated. The hotel’s onsite restaurant and Bistro were constantly buzzing with patrons, a clear indication of their popularity. Although we didn’t get a chance to dine in this time, we’ll definitely be trying them on our next visit. With service and atmosphere this exceptional, we wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else in Lucerne!

Gästehaus by Stoos Hotels, a property with a garden and a bar, is located in Stoos, 30 km from Einsiedeln Abbey, 40 km from KKL Culture and Convention Centre Lucerne, as well as 41 km from Chapel Bridge. The accommodation provides free WiFi throughout the property, as well as a terrace and a traditional restaurant. Very clean and cosy. The restaurant is in the main hotel building that is chick. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

You can play tennis or golf at this hotel, and the area is popular for mountain biking and hiking. Europe's highest outdoor lift, the Hammetschwand lift, is located nearby. The hotel guests can access the MS Bürgenstock Catamaran as well as a funicular from and to Lucerne during entire stay free of charge. Bürgenstock Cinema is available for all guests at a charge of CHF 15 per person per movie. The room was so spacious with a cute little garden. The view to the alpine mountain was amazing. It was quiet, close to the nature, the lake view amazing. I even liked the smell of the cows. And the Spa was so good. I’ll come back for sure.

Well, right from the word go at the reception, I knew I found the right place. First and foremost, the great, GREAT Staff who not just guest but accommodated every oddball request - including that for my favorite dessert of Crêpes Suzette :-D !!! The food was superb, the wine awesome and the Aperol Spritz out of this world! My room was phenomenal with a giant bathtub in which I soaked every morning! Overall, an awesome, awesome, otherworldly experience in paradise!

The family-run Seehotel Gotthard in Weggis on the shore of Lake Lucerne, 25 km from Lucerne, offers 2 restaurants, a pizzeria, a bistro and rooms with scenic views and free WiFi. In the summer months guest enjoy free access to the heated outdoor pool of the neightbouring hotel Beau Rivage. I originally planned to stay in Lucerne, but I chose Weggis instead for three nights — and I’m so glad I did. Just half an hour from Lucerne by ferry, Weggis offers a calm and peaceful atmosphere with breathtaking lake views. Perfectly situated right on the lake, with Mount Rigi station within walking distance. From there, you can take the gondola (cable car) and then the classic train up to Mount Rigi — an unforgettable experience. The room was spotless, with a balcony overlooking the lake. Waking up to that view was magical. Hotel provide me guest card which was use free for cable car and Rigi train trip. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, guiding me to sightseeing options. Breakfast was delicious and well-prepared. The ferry rides across the lake were stunning, and every moment in Weggis felt relaxing and rejuvenating. I will definitely return to Seehotel Gotthard Hotel with my family on my next visit. Weggis was a true gem and a great find — peaceful, scenic, and unforgettable.

The new wellness and spa area is situated within a wonderful mountain landscape and offers an indoor pool, an indoor and outdoor whirlpool, as well as 5 different saunas and 2 steam baths and a quiet room with a splendid view. The ski pistes start directly in front of the hotel and there are many hiking and mountain biking paths nearby. A lounge with Alps views is also available. Amazing stay , everything was just top level ! Thank you for your hospitality!
