Everything was great. Friendly and helpful staff!!! Room is comfy and has everything. We had a family room and 2 balconies..both views were breathtaking. I cant wait to go back. The Arc-en-ciel hotel in traditional Chalet style is a hotel situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of Gstaad, next to the Eggli cable car station, close to the car-free centre. Our Comfort room could be used together with the one next door, if you were travelling as a family. There was an outer door that kept any noise level from the corridor to a minimum. Breakfast was substantial and the restaurant was well used by both guests and non guests. Very attentive staff in the restaurant. A genuinely friendly and professional gentleman called Weil was on hand at check in and check out making us feel everyone in the hotel were keen for us to have a memorable stay. The car parking, private spa for an hour and the ski equipment hire all included in the cost of our stay were amazing

Our room had a huge private terrace and the views were unbelievable. I heard clanging one morning we were there and was delighted to see cows parading through the street right below us! The bus stop is literally right across the street so super convenient. Ideal location as it is super walkable to shops and restaurants but not quite in the noisier heart of it all. The staff was kind and attentive and it was a huge bonus to have laundry available in the basement. The toiletries provided in the room smelled amazing. The restaurant was top notch, we dined there our first night. To end our stay, we got a lovely Swiss chocolate bar as we checked out :)
