I was in Lucerne to compete in the Swiss City Marathon, and they graciously prepared an early breakfast to fit my race schedule. Edith at reception was incredibly thoughtful, taking time to calm my nerves and ensuring I had everything I needed for the big day. It was the kind of personal touch that’s rare to find and so appreciated. The hotel’s onsite restaurant and Bistro were constantly buzzing with patrons, a clear indication of their popularity. Although we didn’t get a chance to dine in this time, we’ll definitely be trying them on our next visit. With service and atmosphere this exceptional, we wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else in Lucerne!

Well, right from the word go at the reception, I knew I found the right place. First and foremost, the great, GREAT Staff who not just guest but accommodated every oddball request - including that for my favorite dessert of Crêpes Suzette :-D !!! The food was superb, the wine awesome and the Aperol Spritz out of this world! My room was phenomenal with a giant bathtub in which I soaked every morning! Overall, an awesome, awesome, otherworldly experience in paradise!

In the summer months guest enjoy free access to the heated outdoor pool of the neightbouring hotel Beau Rivage. I originally planned to stay in Lucerne, but I chose Weggis instead for three nights — and I’m so glad I did. Just half an hour from Lucerne by ferry, Weggis offers a calm and peaceful atmosphere with breathtaking lake views. Perfectly situated right on the lake, with Mount Rigi station within walking distance. From there, you can take the gondola (cable car) and then the classic train up to Mount Rigi — an unforgettable experience. The room was spotless, with a balcony overlooking the lake. Waking up to that view was magical. Hotel provide me guest card which was use free for cable car and Rigi train trip. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, guiding me to sightseeing options. Breakfast was delicious and well-prepared. The ferry rides across the lake were stunning, and every moment in Weggis felt relaxing and rejuvenating. I will definitely return to Seehotel Gotthard Hotel with my family on my next visit. Weggis was a true gem and a great find — peaceful, scenic, and unforgettable.

Wellness facilities include indoor and outdoor pools, fitness area, a sauna, a steam bath, and indoor and outdoor hot tubs. On Tuesday mornings and Thursday afternoons, the sauna area is open for women only. The location, just a few minutes’ walk from the train station and a shopping center, was perfect for us. We enjoyed the access to the swimming pool and sauna, which was included in the price. The breakfast buffet was generous, and all the hotel personnel were amazing. The hotel and rooms were very clean. We occupied a total of three rooms; two were perfect, but room #3 did not have adequate clearance between the bed and the wall to pass by. The beds were very comfortable, and the WiFi was excellent. As is common in Switzerland, there was no A/C in any of the rooms, but a fan was provided. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning, especially as the owner mentioned plans to renovate all the rooms and add a restaurant on the top floor.

Wild in the front desk and the one in the health club i forget his name all of them did a great job to give me and my family unforgettable memories.
