During the summer months the outdoor swimming pool is a great place to relax while your children have fun on the playground, in the games rooms, or on the electric car track. The staff accommodated all of our special requests. The accommodation cost included ski equipment hire from the shop across the road. Excellent restaurant on site. Lovely room. Friendly staff.

I highly recommend everyone to try it at least once. Everything you could need was provided, the place was spotless and well-maintained, and extremely comfortable. It truly is one of the best accommodations. The view of the mountains and nature is breathtaking, and there’s easy access to nearby restaurants. Check-in and check-out were very smooth and well-organized. I would definitely stay here again

The Grandhotel Giessbach is a historic house from 1874 and enjoys a secluded position on a hill above Lake Brienz amid a 22-hectare park. It offers views over Lake Brienz and the Giessbach Waterfall,an outdoor pool, 2 restaurants, one of which features a summer terrace. Free WiFi is available in all areas. We had a wonderful stay at the Grandhotel. The staff were all very nice and helpful, in particular Sebastian at reception. We stayed in one of the rooms at the front of the hotel with a small balcony and a spectacular view of Lake Brienz and the waterfall. The room was really clean, spacious, and comfortable. The food was delicious and well presented. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, with a lovely walk down to the lake, the funicular train, and several hikes around the waterfall. The outdoor pool area is also lovely, both for a swim and to sit down for a while. A wonderful, tranquil slice of heaven. Can't wait to return!

Beauty treatments are available as well. Excellent facilities, breakfast and dinner were delicious. The room was lovely, with a great view of the mountains. Very friendly staff.

The Männlichen Cable Car is located right across from the property. The lounge bar is equipped with a cosy fireplace. Using the spa after check out was really amazing, thank you, with that it was absolutely worth the price!

We had our room booked and paid ahead of time, but when the staff noticed that we were less than satisfied they upgraded us with no extra cost. Concierge team are professionals and they go out of their way to provide whatever assistance required. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.
