After an eventful day in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, relax and unwind in the Hotel Zugspitze's spa area, where your will find an indoor swimming pool, various saunas, a hot tub, plunge pools and a fitness room. Restaurant & cuisine – The dining room delivered outstanding food, excellent table service, and mountain views that made every meal memorable. Hospitality – Staff throughout the hotel—from check‑in to housekeeping—exceeded every expectation. Breakfast experience – A wide and tasty buffet, prompt service, with hot dishes prepared on request made for an energizing start to each day. Ideal for short stopovers – I originally planned this as a two‑night rest to avoid a long drive after a flight. While I didn’t have time for the spa, its generally praised 1,000 m² wellness area shows just how full a longer stay could be. Impeccable cleanliness – I hold very high standards for hygiene; the room and public areas surpassed them entirely.

The garden includes a sunbathing lawn. The staff members were incredibly kind, and the restaurant served high-quality meals for all their menu items. The SPA experience was truly amazing, and the kids enjoyed every second of it.

The hut is really nice and clean. There are cosy places to sit outside and a small lake where you can swim and enjoy the sun. Breakfast and dinner were great. The people working here are also super friendly. One important thing, you can only reach it by foot in a 1h-hike (if you’re fit in 45 min) so keep that in mind.

Staff was also very attentive and helpful with activities to do around the area! Breakfast had a great selection of food and the warmed pool/sauna were a great way to settle down at the end of the day.

The apartment is large enough for 5 people, cozy yet very spacious, making it perfect for families. The gentleman at the reception was very kind and welcoming, which made our stay even more pleasant.
