Fürstenhaus Am Achensee is a 4-star superior hotel located right on the shore of Lake Achen, offering panoramic views of the Alps. The 3,000 m² spa area features indoor and outdoor pools with mountain views, various massage showers, and a large hot tub right above the lake. I have stayed in many hotels but this one was the best of all. Not only because of the magical location of the shore of Achensee and embraced by mountains but also because of the facilities, the staff and the food. Let's start with the room: this is the first hotel room where bathroom and toilet are separated. Fantastic idea! The room was spotless clean and the cleaning staff deserve a big applause! The room was silent, well isolated. The walls are not paper thin, you can barely hear anything from outside. It even has a balcony which is also not common. The spa facilities are huge and well-maintained, offering a wide range of possibilities. The food in the restaurant is fantastic, the staff super helpful and costumer oriented. The staff deserves all the recognition they can get, they are the ones carrying the hotel on their shoulders and you can see that they are working real hard.

The garden was beautiful and peaceful, and had everything from cozy nooks to relax to a hot tub and a sauna, and two swimming ponds. We had BBQ in the garden under wild grapes. It was so relaxing. And thank you for the owners to help us with starting the grill!

The quality of the whole structure is superb, they have the best hotel gym I’ve ever seen, an amazing indor-outdoor spa, a fantastic restaurant and above all, a great service provided from the staff. The spa centre comes with a 215 m² large indoor and outdoor pool, several sauna, an aroma steam bath, and a relaxation area with outdoor access. A hair salon is available on site. Staff was incredibly friendly, very clean, breakfast and dinner were amazing. Spa was also very clean and wonderful. We will definitely come back, such a great stay.
