The apartment was beautifully refurbished and very well equipped, including a gas hob, electric oven and a great espresso maker with coffee and pods. It was located on a residential street close to the supermarket, restaurants and Robertson Golf Course. It gave easy access to all the nearby places of interest, namely winefarms and the Brede River boat cruise. The plunge pool was also very welcome given the very hot few days we stayed.

Driving down the tree lined street we arrived to Petal’s Place. We were greeted by Wendi the hostess and we were able to check in early, which was very accommodating. We were shown to our room, the Jasmine room which was bright, large, comfy and airy. Bathroom was clean and had a nice large shower. Love the tall ceilings in the house. Secure parking provided. Plunge pool is very enjoyable after a hard day of wine tasting! Nice and quiet, you can hear the birds chirping in the morning. For breakfast you fill in a form the night before stating time and preferences. Breakfast is prepared by Wendi herself! Well organized for a small B&B. Location is very convenient, all the way down the street you fall upon the Robertson Train Station (wine train on Saturdays). Most of the Vineyards around can be reached within half an hour or so. We thank Wendi for her hospitality and friendliness. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful cottage with stunning views of the Robertson valley. The unit's indoor fireplace along with the two air conditioners make it perfectly comfortable during cold, winter evenings. Good kitchen facilities. Nice outdoor braai. Beautiful pool - wish we could use it, but it was too cold. Could consider heating options in future to use the pool during winter months.

Superb Location, exceptional natural features - accessible mountain stream, hour hike to top of a smaller mountain with views forever, dam with jetty and canoes/ paddle/boats and swimming in dam, easy walks in nature, plenty birds, outdoor and indoor facilities, exceptionally great staff, most certainly one of the best stays we've experienced with wi-fi for working online in a piece of heaven.

Layout of the house with the verenda and swimming pool. We did the bride's reveal from one of the rooms on the verenda. Furniture outside great with the table and chairs .

Fantastic guest house! Very quite, relaxing and remote but not too far from the main road. Beautilfully maintained area with a really nice private swimming pool. Looking forward to staying here again. I would recommend this guest house,

We enjoyed our breakfast siting on a porch next to the swimming pool. The room is beautifully decorated, on a smaller size with limited storage, but we were very comfortable. Access to Netflix on the TV is a bonus if you do not have your own subscription. The owner let us put few things into her fridge/freezer, which we extremely appreciated.
