The biggest purpose of staying at this hotel was the game safari. The game safari experience was amazing. I met several cheetahs and leopards, which are said to be difficult to see. I was able to meet other animals at such a distance that I could actually feel their breathing. Respect and gratitude to the team of drivers and navigators for their professional work in guiding us on our game safari.

The luxury tents were very comfortable and had a great view over the dam. Unfortunately the hippos had decided to stay in another dam opposite but we got to see lots of monkeys/baboons, giraffe, zebras and even a Warthog. The staff were fantastic and we were very well looked after. Unfortunately it rained a fair bit but we kept ourselves occupied in the main lodge with various games. Sly was amazing on the game drive and walk and extremely passionate and knowledgable.

The stay overall was spectacular. The room cleanliness was fabulous — every time we returned from the game drive, the room was tidy and clean. Very comfortable and quiet; the bed and the shower made the stay even more pleasant. The food and the service were excellent, and we were lucky to participate in and experience a braai dinner. The highlight of the stay was the game drives, with a very attentive and dedicated guide — it was the best experience.

This villa was just impeccable, a bush lovers dream home, I cannot stop speaking about it. We were treated like VIPs from beginning to end. The decor was amazing, the beds were all huge and comfortable, fridge filled with snacks and drinks .My kids swam for hours and kept cool with the aircons at night. Honestly every attention to detail did not go unnoticed!! The personal chef, butler and staff took care of our every need, a lifetime of memories were definitely made here!!

Well, this was my fourth time staying in Kapama. it is certainly a magical place and never disappoints our guide Stjohn was knowledgeable, interesting and made the experience one will never forget. We stayed in A-villa and enjoyed our private pool. We had a group of monkeys that would come see us. We saw all big five within the first day. I’m looking forward to coming back. The service was impeccable, and we were even treated to a safari breakfast. All the staff were accommodating sure our stay was five star.

Kapama is absolutely beautiful throughout all areas. The dinning areas and the pools are stunning. The food is amazing so thoughtfully considered and well presented. The people at Kapama do everything to make you welcome and ensure that you enjoy your stay. Thanks to our ranger Brendan and tracker Clement for excellent safaris and looking after us.

The location in the reserve was amazing, the rooms and common areas were beautiful very nice pool and excellent food; the safari games were great, the reserve is small enough to easily see a lot of animals although we were almost always alone while watching them

In the middle of the privae game reserve with very capable rangers for the evening and morning game drives. They met our dietary requirements (pure vigan) by acquiring new pots and pans and cook especially for us delicious lunches and dinner. Free drinks at the bar and from the fully stocked minibar in the room. Staff very helpful and attend to all our needs. A lot of extra facilities - library, swimming pool, etc. - that we didn't have enough time to enjoy.
