Highly recommend this place! The lodge is immersed in wonderful nature with trees, flowers and lots of birds, beautiful and relaxing. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was good and freshly prepared every morning, there are few options from which you can choose which cover both sweet and salty. We also had dinner (must be paid separately) which is highly recommended, we had our best tenderloin and chicken curry of our stay in South Africa! Most importantly: the hosts are extremely nice and attentive, and gave us a lot of tips and recommendations for our stay.

Very nice villas with private pool and great view! We even met 2 girafs and other animals around the villas. The food is delicious and we had the chance to experience meat from the springbok, kudu and crocodile. Everything was very well organized for us by the owner of the Zarafa incl. activities (big 5 safari, panorama tour) and airport transfers.

The tents were amazing. Simple elegance. Air conditioning was great. Indoor/ outdoor showers were so nice. Large deck to sit on. Restaurant was very good! Buffet at night with many great options. Loved our coffees from the bar. Sitting along the edge of each was a treat. Good game drives. Gave us packed breakfasts in the morning. The staff were amazing. Very friendly, helpful and good knowledge of what it is going on.

I had a wonderful stay at Bambuu Lakeside Lodge, and I can highly recommend this beautiful place. A special thank you to Manie for his lovely and warm welcome. From the very beginning, he was waiting for us and made sure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. He went the extra mile by arranging a wide range of truly unforgettable safari experiences, as well as a spa day in one of the most amazing locations — everything was perfectly organized. The lodge itself was outstanding. It was very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, the surroundings were absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The food was incredible — every meal was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. One detail that really touched us was the care shown on the day of our safari. The hotel was waiting for us at 5:00 am with a ready-made breakfast to take with us on the safari. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made us feel truly looked after. Everything about our stay was perfect. I highly recommend Bambuu Lakeside Lodge and would love to come back again in the future.

We had an 8 hour drive to get to tanemera lodge.Russel and Janice kept checking in to make sure we are safe on the road. We arrived well after supper time but the kitchen staff still waited for us and prepared our supper the moment we arrived. The following day, we were treated with a lovely breakfast and great views of the sabie River below. They made sure our food was in the room for supper after we said we would arrive late again the saturday afternoon Everything about the service and hospitality was amazing

Everything about Highgrove was absolutely superb! The details are what matters and Highgrove focuses on every detail of the guest experience from the down pillows and comforter to the personalized turn down service to the wood burning fireplace at dinner to the furnishings and candlelight dinners. The food was above and beyond with 4-5 course dinners included - fine dining experience every night. The owners are very involved and have really created something precious here - it is magical!
