The location is wonderful. Set close to Drakensberg, it is great for hiking and bird watching as well as simply enjoying the time at the Guest farm. Delyse and her team have made our stay very very comfortable. When our parents had issues with using the bathtub to shower, they were given a different, much better room at no extra charge. Dinners and drinks are reasonably priced and the quality of the food is amazing with the meat and the eggs coming from the farm, etc. It was especially lovely to celebrate New Year’s Eve with other guests at Dalmore Guest Farm with Delyse working well beyond normal work hours to make sure everybody was having a good time.

Overlooking the Spioenkop Game Reserve, Three Tree Hill Lodge offers luxury accommodation. It features a sun deck next to an outdoor swimming pool. There are hiking trails and guided tours available.

Unbelievably stunning location, views across the unspoilt bush landscape from rooms and terraces are unbeatable. Great food, and wonderful dining room / terrace / lounge meant meals were a relaxed delight. Extremely welcoming and engaging staff and hosts. The two dawn game walks we did are now right up there in the highlights of my life.

Our room was very cozy and clean. There was everything we needed. Personally, I also liked the cute design of the room and the table with chairs outside - a great place to drink coffee in the morning and look at the mountains. The location is also great, there is lots of space to walk around, and relax/ Also the Royal Natal National Park is a 20-minute drive away. The staff was very friendly and advised us on the best hiking routes.

We had such a lovely time on the farm! Sanelle gave us warm welcome and the accommodation itself is wonderful. We walked among the zebras and the giraffes, enjoyed the views and natures sounds and immediately regretted that we only booked one night.

Surrounded by greenery, the Winterton Lodge @ Rose Cottage features a splash pool. Elegantly decorated, accommodation at Winterton includes a TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom.

We loved this beautiful and private house with its magnificent views of bush, wildlife and birdlife. We especially enjoyed the glorious sunsets and stargazing from the veranda and had the option of doing so from the fire-driven hot tub. A fire pit is also located below. The owners provided wood for the barbecue and tub. The house has two very spacious bedrooms - both with bathrooms with tubs and walk-in showers - and super comfortable beds. The kitchen is big and well stocked with nearly every amenity including an ice maker. The owners warned us of a pot-hole ridden kilometre or so of road to the house, but it was easily nagivated with a regular car. The town of Winterton is about 10-15 minutes' drive and has a couple of stores if you run short of self-catering supplies. Wine and beer is also available in the house and payable via an honesty box. Details of trail walks and runs are also in the house for more athletic types. Cathedral Peak Wine Estate is 5 minutes away for wine tastings and food. Loved our stay!

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here! When I booked the place, I almost couldn't believe the price compared to other good accommodation options in the area. The facilities were fantastic, Sandra was an exceptional hostess, extremely welcoming with lots of little touches like milk in the fridge provided for. The location on the game reserve is exceptional, we were able to walk around freely and saw buck, zebra and giraffe. The only complaint I have is that we couldn't stay even longer, even though it was offered to us by Sandra if our hiking in the Drakensberg didn't go to plan! I really can't express enough how much of a great option this is.
