It’s nestled in the Babule Game Reserve. The facility is great and clean. The rooms here face the river. We got to experience the tranquility of our surrounding jungle/forest. Given, our guide, is exceptional, experienced with tracking wild life and loves them. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. Carol and her team are marvellous hosts. Food is good.

We loved the large shared living space where we could spend time during the day together as a whole family, while the bedrooms were individually placed for some more privacy and quite for those afternoon naps. The viewing deck and waterhole was perfect with some game viewing action throughout the day. The house was very well equipped and we saw the big five during our stay. With just three rooms at Chacma, you’re guaranteed a much more intimate experience than staying at a bigger location. As a solo traveller the real highlight was the friendly and fun team behind Chacma: Matt, Josh and Charlie are fantastic, passionate guides who guaranteed that each trip out provided memorable, safe experiences while Karen, Lynx and the wider team at Chacma ensured a comfortable stay. You’ll learn so much from this team and they are only too happy to share their knowledge and experience with you. A special place I can’t wait to return to.

We spent four nights at Muweti Bush Lodge, and it exceeded all our expectations. The accommodation is truly exceptional, with the entire staff being incredibly friendly and attentive. The rooms were well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. Muweti offers three lodges, ensuring a personalized and intimate experience. The food was outstanding, and we had the pleasure of dining together with other guests and our guides at one table -a wonderful way to share stories and connect. Each day featured two game drives, starting at 5:30 AM and 4:30 PM. Our guides, Hardus and Niel, were not only super friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. Their expertise and enthusiasm turned every game drive into an extraordinary adventure. From the balcony and pool, we enjoyed stunning views of the savanna and were fortunate to spot a variety of animals visiting the nearby waterhole. A heartfelt thank you to Hardus and Niel for your exceptional guidance and for making our stay truly unforgettable. We can’t wait to return to Muweti Bush Lodge one day! Best regards, Lisa & Marius

I had the most wonderful 3 night stay at iMbamuweti cottage! The cottage was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything I could possibly need as I was self-catering. The location was perfect—peaceful, idyllic and wildlife walking literally outside the fence. As hosts, Mike and Laura were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring I had everything I needed. The attention to detail was evident throughout the cottage and I especially loved relaxing in the private garden next to the splash pool. The cottage was cleaned daily, and a fire made up for me outside each day. Game drives were organised through the main lodge and I did two of these in the afternoons and had incredible sightings with very experienced and knowledgeable guides. I will definitely return and stay for longer next time. I highly recommend this beautiful cottage to anyone looking to relax and take in the sights and sounds of the African bush.

We were the only guests, and were given a free upgrade to the chalet with private pool. The host and gardener were also very kind and helpful. We greatly enjoyed spotting smaller wildlife from the hide out during the sunset and sunrise, and the peace and quiet of the stay. During the night we were visited by a honey badger twice that tried to get into the cupboards and fridge, some excitement for sure!

We booked the honeymoon tent (seringa) and everything about it screams luxury. Spectacular views, super peaceful, private, love the outdoor bathtub and the sunset is out of this world. We went for a sunset game drive and we enjoyed that too. Robert made the game drive very enjoyable.

An exceptional location with magnificent views, experiences and staff. You really feel like you’re visiting a long term friend’s house when you’re here, but you’re meeting some other friends (guests) too! The pool is exceptional, the food was incredible, the game drives were always more than expected!

The location on the river was perfect so much game viewing possible from terrace. Villa spacious with own pool but resort pool was lovely as well. Lunch and dinner served to you very nice and often 2 wines and a desert wine offered in the evenings. Breakfast was a buffet poss could have had more pastries etc but was still good. Staff were very accommodating.

Staff very welcoming and couldn't do more upon arrival and throughout the day. Facilities were great and they made a real effort to ensure the stay was romantic and enjoyable. Game drives were fantastic and the drivers knew exactly where to go. My partner had a massage which was really good value for money. Pool was nice to cool off after a long day tracking the animals! You will see the big 5 at this reserve!

The property is super nice, with a fence around it so also safe. Is has a really nice public area with a great swimming pool and view over the parc. While chilling there you can always see some animals.

An incredible lodge! Very remote and a vehicle with ground clearance is highly recommended. But you are rewarded with a breathtaking view from the terrace. While you cool your feet in the pool, you have the best view of nature. We saw several elephants and giraffes passing right by the fence. The next day there was a live hunt by two lions for impallas. We would never have dared to dream of it. Besides the gamedrives, bushwalks and safaris in the Kruger, you should definitely plan a day on the terrace. It's definitely worth it.
