the hotel was very clean and nice ,just i found horrible san francisco as a city. the hotel didn’t advise us that is dangerous to walk in some areas and by mistake we went directly there.It was super stressful and dangerous as there were so many homeless people which was looking like zombies,they were all drunk or on drug and the whole situation was super scary .The hotel is in safe area but i believe they have to advise the guests to avoid these dangerous streets .

Such an awesome hotel for families. There is not much of a nightlife near the Wharf but Caza has that covered! Free pool, fooseball, shuffleboard, arcade games and tables where you can have some drinks from the bar and play cards. We ordered Doordarsh one night, ordered some drinks and sat at one of the booths and played cards. Highly recommend this hotel! Free milk and cookies every night too! Close to the Wharf where all the tourist things to see and do are.

I cannot recall ever having stayed at a hotel where the staff - from the reception to the cleaning ladies - were more friendlier than the ones in Riu Plaza Fisherman's Wharf. Top tier service and just a paragon of excellence. The location is, as all prospective guests will be well aware, close to all attractions and touristy locations around Fisherman's Wharf. The neighborhood is very safe.

The staff were super welcoming and warm, which made a real difference. It felt like a home from home. We felt comfortable and well catered for - we had a fantastic stay. If we come back to San Francisco again, we would stay at Hotel del Sol again and we would certainly recommend it. It is possibly the best hotel stay we have ever had.

We arrived early at 11am after checking out of another hotel after the marathon… the girl at the desk couldnt have been nicer and more helpful…& even had the room ready by chance, which was amazing after the run!
