The staff make this motel exceptional - nothing was too much trouble and any issues were dealt with quickly and with care. All staff gave a cheery hello and reception staff remembered who we were. We loved walking from the motel into Acadia national park and also into Bar Harbor. A mechanical issue which affected our room was swiftly investigated and we were moved without fuss to an unaffected room. The renovated retro rooms are great but it’s not style over substance as the beds are comfortable and the rooms spacious with a microwave and mini fridge which we found really useful. We were hesitant in staying 4 nights at a motel but would come back in a flash - and we are fussy!

We had no idea how beautiful this place was going to be until we arrived! The room, the balcony, the staff, the view, the free shuttle service were all exceptional. We fell in love with the hotel and the Island so much that we actually canceled our trip to Boston and stayed at the Atlanta Eyrie for the remainder of our honeymoon instead. All of the receptionists were incredibly accommodating and made our stay that much more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone that wants to experience the beauty of Bar Harbor!!!

Very cosy room with everything we needed. Even without direct view to the bay we enjoyed sitting on the balcony. We loved the gorgeous pool and hot tub and we enjoyed an awesome breakfast with an amazing view to the sea. It was easy to walk to downtown. Parking lot was directly in front of the room.

Very Nice Hotel I really liked Angel our Bartender at the pool area. Give him an at a boy. I liked the dock and pool area. My only complaint is the coffee offered in your lobby, OMG its terrible, get the real deal going.

Really big room, lovely fireplace which helped given the weather. Front desk staff really helpful, pool very good, parking easy. 10 minutes from downtown, 10 minutes from Arcadia NP - perfect!
