We had a very relaxing stay at Sea Valley Resort. The seaside bungalow was beautiful, very quaint and private, and we loved the beach, the swimming pools and the breakfast. This side of the island is very quiet compared to the more turbulent east coast and we thoroughly enjoyed sharing the long fairytale beach with only a few tourists and the local Thai residents. Having a rental car is handy but not absolutely necessary because the surroundings that can be reached by foot have plenty of great (beach) restaurants and there are small supermarkets down the road. The staff, especially at the restaurant/breakfast pavilion was exceptionally friendly and the restaurant, offering a large and relatively international menu, had tasty food of great quality when we had lunch there once. It wasn’t very cheap but a nice experience. The breakfast comprised a great variation of continental and Thai options with varying local fruits and fresh eggs and pancakes on demand. Our bungalow was large, clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful ocean view. Some small things, like a dripping toilet, and a window blind prone to coming off showed the building‘s age but did not lessen the overall quality of our stay there at all. The terrace and the private pool were gorgeous and we had some very conveniently placed plants at the beach front that offered privacy while still giving the impression of being directly on the beach. The overall price/value was incredible compared to other hotels on Koh Samui and the whole complex was one of the most beautiful we saw there.

Do not let the exterior of this resort fool you. Reception area is very basic, but the wonderful staff made up for that. Once we were checked in, we were shown to our bungalow. Wow! Extremely spacious - and the bathroom is huge! Such a lovely little place - we will definitely go back. The garden is lovely. Breakfast was included and really good. On-site beach restaurant is extremely expensive with food and drinks, but barely 5 min walk down the beach, there is a very well priced little restaurant at the water's edge. We had most of our meals there. The location is very quiet, the pool is great - as are the comfy hammocks on the beach. We rented a scooter from the hotel and rode all over Koh Samui.

We really enjoyed our stay at Anahata resort - the breakfast was delicious, staff were very helpful and accommodating. The beach and the place feels very quiet and calm - but there are options for food and small shops around. We also had massages at the resort - and they were great. Also the beach is clean and pretty.

We loved our stay at Lipe Beach Resort. We were there during the low season so the whole island was very quiet. We stayed in the beachfront deluxe bungalow and had a perfect view of the sunrise in the morning. The resort is made up of a beach bar with loads of beds to lay on and catch sun while you sip drinks, the covered restaurant with reception where you can rent snorkel equipment and book massages, and several little bungalows right on the beach. We booked massages and they were some of the best we had in Thailand. The staff had a volleyball game going that they invited us to join in and it was great fun! The real reason to stay here tho is the sunrise view and the short walk down the beach for the sunset view. Koh Lipe was our favorite island out of the 5 we stayed on in Thailand and Lipe Beach Resort was the perfect place to stay!

There's a shallow area in the swimming pool which made it perfect for the kids. The staff are really nice and service is top-notch. We had a special beach dinner arranged during our stay and it was impressive! Really worth recommending.

Everything was fantastic. Kind owners, very fast and reliable wifi, big and comfortable bed, clean swimming pool with salt water, kitchen with good equipment for cooking. Reality is better than the photo on booking website. My wife recommends cooking class with Waran (owner).

very nice swimming pool, nice village around with all conveniencies and good restaurants. Lipa Noi area is calmer and cheaper than other parts of the island, with very nice sunsets.
