The breakfast buffet and dinner changed from day to day and were excellent with a variety of choices. On our last night there was not the minimal number of guests needed to offer a full buffet so breakfast was downsized but we could order off the menu and the portions were immense. The pool area was wonderful (loved the lazy river) as was the sauna area which was accessible for a separate fee. Soft music and candles in both the pool and sauna areas made for a lovely relaxing atmosphere. North Americans may benefit from being advised in advance that bathing suits are not allowed in the sauna, steam room, or whirlpool tub in the sauna area. There is a lovely walking path along a bubbling brook steps from the hotel. The room was not large but had everything we needed including a mini fridge, and as always I love the fact that hotel windows open in Europe so one can sleep with fresh mountain air.

Wow, this is one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever been to in my life, I've been to many five star hotels, but this hotel was really much more than five stars. The modern design is amazing, the staff is exceptionally nice, the surrounding landscape is breathtakingly beautiful. The rooms are huge like an apartment. And the highlight is the pool up in front of the view. Those who want to enjoy it are recommended to come and try it.

The Wellness Hotel Chopok in Demanovska Dolina at the foot of the Chopok Mountain is situated near the Jasna Ski Resort.
